"Hey Kevin can I ask a favour of you," I asked as we walked into the house.
"Yeah sure, what do you need," He asked while setting his bag on one of the couches.
"Well I need you to start training Gabriel. I need him to learn the basics of fighting so that I can teach him after I am all healed,"
"Are you kidding me, this rich f*ck can't fight Tony. Don't think I don't know why you are doing this," Kevin said.
"I bet I could take you in a fight," Gabriel said getting defensive, apparently he didn't like being called a pansy.
"And I bet you you couldn't take Kelly in a fight," Kevin replied.
"Who am I fighting?" Kelly asked walking into the living room with a bottle of water in her hand.
"You are going to fight Gabriel over here and prove that he can't fight, at least not as good as he thinks he can," Kevin said heading out into the back yard.
"Okay lets do this," Kelly said pulling of her shirt to reveal her white sports bra.
"Are you kidding me I can't fight a girl. I was raised to never hit a girl," Gabriel said.
"Your right in the fact that you wont be able to hit a girl," Kevin said as Kelly punched Gabriel in the face causing his head to snap back.
"Come on are you just going to take that pretty boy?" Kelly said trying to get him to fight back.
Gabriel took a kick to the side and another right hook to the temple.
"Wow, you really aren't manly enough to fight anyone," she said trying to hit him with another blow to the head but Gabriel managed to block that one.
Kelly tried to hit him with the other hand but took a hit to her side causing her to stumble back. That was all Gabriel needed in order to get his focus back and finally took a fighing stance.
"And now we have ourselves a fight," I said mainly to Kevin.
Kelly lunged forward with two quick jabs, both blocked by Gabriel and she took another hit, this time it was a jag shot to the stomach.
She doubled over and Gabriel was going to hit her again but she reached out and gave him a nice jab to the leg.
"Oh, Charlie horse," Kevin said, knowing how much that hurt.
Kelly stood up and dealt the final blow, her favarite move, the axe kick. I even had trouble with it because it puts to much pressure on your knee, it is always best to use it last incase you do injure yourself in the process.
"Well I think we are done with that. Do you still think you don't need those fighting lessons," I said as Gabriel was slowly getting back on his feet.
"Okay okay, I need those fighting lessons," Gabriel said once he was fully on his feet.
I spent the next two hours watching Kevin run Gabriel through some of the most basic fighting techniques, lending my advice whenever I could.
"Okay, even my football practices aren't that hard," Gabriel complaned as he fell onto the couch.
"You play foot ball?" I asked, I didn't think he could be that outta shape and still play the sport.
"Yeah, I am the Quaterback of our team," He said sounding pretty proud of himself. I decided that I would give him this one and not go bursting his bubble.
"Thats pretty sweet," I said leaning back into the couch, "Man I wish I could go swimming. I am so bored right now. Why did I have to be so stupid and drive that f*cking car."
"You were pissed off, you and I both know that when you get like that you run on instincts and not rational thought," Kelly said.
"Yeah Yeah Yeah, but come on there has got to be something I can do. If I can't find anything physical to do then I am going to be fat by the time I get this f*cking cast off," I said not really thinking of the consequences of my words until Jesse walked into the room.
"Baby, I know something physical you can do, even with a broken leg," He said letting his presence be known to every one.
"As much as I would love too I think Gabriel might kill you if I did," I said looking towards Gabriel who looked slightly ticked at Jesse's comment.
"Oh yeah, sh!t man sorry... Ah you know I would never act on what I say... most of the time," He said just trying to get Gabriel riled up.
"Man we have got to find him a girl friend, or atleast a f*ck buddy. He sounds like a guy with one stuck in the chamber," Kelly said, and I just broke out laughing, so did everyone but Jesse.
I was rolling on the floor laughing so hard I couldn't breath. I finally got my laughing kind of under control and I told Kelly that that was the most amazing thing I have every heard.
"Oh my God, now there are two of you," Jesse said looking between Kelly and I.
"Trust me this girl is like my other half," I said pointing at kelly.
"Yup, its like we were seperated at birth," she said once she stopped laughing.
"Why is there always strange people in our house when we come home," Mrs. Stephens said walking into the living room.
"Sh!t... I mean Sh!t.... Uhhh... Welcome home?" I said trying to get through that without swearing....Again.
"Glad to see that you are doing better Leandra," Mr. Stephens said.
"Thank you Mr. Stephens," I said trying to keep my words in order. I did promise Gabriel that I would be on my best behaviour if Kelly and Kevin got to stay.
"Please call us Rob and Sheryl. These two must be Kevin and Kelly," Mr. Stephens said motioning towards them.
"Yes, Kelly, kevin this is Rob and Sheryl Stephens," I said properly introdusing them.
"Well I think that you should be getting home Jesse, we would like to talk to Leandra and Gabriel now," Sheryl said to us.
Somethings tells me I am not going to like this conversation....
