Kelly and I walked into the living room to see Kevin and Gabriel sitting there.

"Hey Gabriel can I talk to you," I asked quietly, letting our presence be known.

"Why, you want to finish breaking my heart," he said in a voice so cold I barley recognized it.

"Well..... Uh... About......" I wanted to talk to him but i couldn't find the courage to do it in front of Kevin and Kelly, luckily Kelly understood that.

"Would you just f*ck off and listen to what she has to say, because believe me, it is something that you want to hear," she said dragging Kevin out of the room, leaving Gabriel and me alone to talk.

"Listen.... I.... Uh.... Wanted to apologize for what I did to you in the pool. It was unfair and untrue..." I said refusing to meet his gaze.

"What do you mean?" He asked, his voice starting to sound normal.

"Well.... I really did enjoy that uhhhhh... Kiss. The only reason that I said what I said was because I was scared by how much I liked that kiss," I admitted to him.

"I don't understand what you are saying," I said.

"I am saying that I like you and that scares me," I said sitting down on the couch beside him.

"You know that I would never do anything to hurt you. I love you way to much," He said trying to make me smile.

"See that is the thing that scares me, you may not want to hurt me, but you can hurt me worse then Antonio ever could. He never truly had my heart, but you do. And I can't afford to have it broken again." I said quietly.

"I know you have been hurt in the past, and I would love it if I could make that pain go away, but I can't. All’s I can ask for is a chance,” He said reaching over and grabbing my hands in his.

“And that is what I am going to give you. Kelly seems to think it is a good idea,” I said still not meeting his gaze.

“And what about you? Do you think it is a good idea?”

“I hope so...” Was all I replied, because I don’t know why, but I had a feeling that this was going to turn out really bad.

I was surprised when he pulled me into a very tight hug.

“You have no idea how happy you have made me... I honestly think that I could explode right now I am so happy,” He said not loosening his bear hug.

“Its not going to last long if you kill me now,” I said, referring to the fact that I couldn’t breath right now.

“Sorry I am just so exited,” He said. And I could tell he was, he looked like he had just won the lottery.

“Wow, I cannot handle this much good cheer, so we are going to go train so I can beat some of that spunk right out of you,” I said pulling him off of the couch and into the back yard.

We practiced for about two hours and he was getting a little better, he got in two hits, my stupid leg was really slowing me down. I can’t wait till I have its full use back, it still hurts to kick with it, but I am not going to tell Gabriel that.

“I think you just like beating on me,” Gabriel said sitting down after I dealt him another blow.

“Oh that is one of the perks of training you,” I said with a cheeky smile on my face.

“Hey, so now that we are dating, can I take you on a date tonight?” He asked.

“Yeah I guess that would be alright, but you have to make all of the plans. Its not going to be one of those dates where I end up telling you where to go. We are going to do this like a test, lets see how well you know me...” I said giving him a cheeky grin.

“Well I have been planning this for a while so I think I am going to be okay. You have to dress semi formally I guess you could call it. We are leaving at seven so be ready by then,” He said getting up and leaving.

I ran into Kelly as I was heading to my room and quickly grabbed her arm and dragged her into my room.

“Whoa, what the hell is wrong with you?” She asked as I literally threw her onto the bed.

“I am going on a date with Gabriel and I have no idea what to do, I haven’t ever been on a real date. I mean a date with Antonio involved getting high and then what ever that lead too,” I said pacing in front of Kelly.

“Well did he say what to wear or where you are going?” She asked.

“He said that I had to dress semi-formallyand that he had been planning this date for awhile and it is something that I will really like,"

"You go and have a shower and I will find your outfit for you," She said getting up and pushing me into the shower, "And don't be so nervous."

I spent a good half an hour in the shower and when I came out it was 5:30.

"Man took you long enough, you barely left time for us to get you all ready so hurry up and put on your dress," She said pointing to the dress that she had laying on my bed.

"One of my old dance dresses?"

"Yeah, if I know Gabriel I think he is going to take you to some hot dancing club because that is something that he knows you love," She said.

"Well that would be an amazing date," I said slipping on the dress.

Kelly spent the next hour doing my hair so it was half up and half down and curled so that the curls fell down around my shoulder.

When she was finally done with everything it was quarter to seven and I was still freaking out about this date.

"Oh just go Leandra, I think you are going to have an amazing time," Kelly said, finally convincing me of it.

I walked down the stairs and met Gabriel who was standing at the bottom waiting for me. When he saw me his jaw hit the floor.

"If you don't close your mouth you will choke on a fly," I said laughing at him, that and I was trying to hide the fact that I was so nervous.

"You look absolutely amazing," He said once he got over the shock of seeing me for the first time.

"Well thank you, you don't look so bad yourself,"

"Okay you kids have fun, and don't have her home to late," Kelly scolded like a mother.

"Yeah yeah," I said as we headed out the front door.

Just before we closed the door we heard Kelly shout, "And don't forget to use protection!"

"Oh what a whore," I said laughing and shaking her head.

"Are you ready to have to best date of your life," Gabriel said as he opened the door to his car.

"Well I don't really have much to compare it to so Yeah,"

"You have never been on a date before," He asked confused.

"Well I was either busy with gymnastics or when I was dating Antonio we would just get together and get high. I don't think you would consider that a date."

"Well then, I hope that this will be a night that you will want to remember," He said and then he took off down the road.
