The door to the infirmary opened. Dr. Helen Cho looked up from her clipboard and saw Director Fury carrying a young woman in his arms.
"Get her on the table," Dr. Cho said.
Fury placed Josephina down on Dr. Cho's examination table. Helen looked at Josephina. She had wounds in her arm and leg and was extremely pale and shaking.
"What happened?" she asked.
"HYDRA..." the girl said, shakily.
"One of HYDRA's top agents wounded her," Fury said. "She spoke a code which is meant to kill her. Can you help her?"
"I can try," Helen Cho said.
This was the last Josephina heard before she blacked out. When she awoke again, she was still in the infirmary. She looked around. Dr. Cho was standing nearby. Director Fury had left.
"Glad to see you're awake," Dr. Cho said. "We were beginning to worry about you."
"What happened?" Josephina asked, sitting up.
"We found a way to stop your countdown and save you," she said. "You are going to be completely fine. HYDRA has no control over you now."
Josephina sighed and smiled.
"Oh yes," said Dr. Cho. "You have visitors."
The door opened and Clint and Natasha walked into the room. Josephina smiled. She stood up and hugged Natasha.
"We are so glad you are okay," Natasha said. "How are you feeling?"
"Much better now," Josephina said. "Thank you."
"We're going to head out so you can finish up with Dr. Cho," Clint said. "Afterwards, will you meet us in the hanger?"
Josephina smiled.
"Sure thing," she replied.
