Chapter 15 & 16

Chapter 15

~James's POV~
I jumped out of bed, and grabbed the pre-packed bag. "Get into the car" I yelled to Annabel. I saw the clock: 3AM. "This is defiantly my kid deciding to be born now..."
I drove Annabel to the hospital, a nurse saw us right away. We went into a room and prepared for delivery.
Dr. Patterson walked in "we'll it's that time already? Lets get going!"
He checked how far into labor Annabel was. "She's not dilated enough." He looked over at me "it may be a while."
By now I had scrubs on "I'll wait right here, next to her." I replied grabbing Annabel's hand.
"We're having a baby!" Annabel whispered in between her painful contractions. I smiled at her.
I left the room briefly to call Kendall.
"Hello?" He said tiredly.
"Annabel's going into labor." I said.
"Okay I'll be over with Logan and Carlos in about a half hour." Then he hung up.
I stayed with Annabel, she still wasn't dilated enough, then the guys got here.
"What's going on?" Kendall asked.
"She still needs to-"
I was cut off by Dr. Patterson telling to me "it's time"
"We're about to have a baby!" I said with a smile as I ran back to Annabel's side.

Chapter 16

~James's POV~

Within 20 minutes, little Kendall was born. He was crying, which in this case is a good sign. The doctor took him away to run some tests and weigh him. I called Kendall and told him the baby had been born. Logan, Carlos, and Kendall were soon crowding in the room. 
Dr. Patterson came back. "Your baby is healthy, he weighs about 5 pounds 8 ounces and 21 inches. Annabel would you like to hold him?" 
She sat up a little. "Of course!" She said smiling. 
Dr. Patterson carefully gave Annabel our baby. 
"Hi Kendall, welcome to the world." 
I stood over her looking at the baby. I wish our families could share on our happiness. Next it was Kendall's turn. I took my baby and carefully handed him to Kendall. While Kendall was holding him I asked. "Did you think of a middle name yet?"
"Yes." Kendall began 
"Batman?" Logan cut in.
We all laughed "no" Kendall replied. 
"Everyone day hello to Kendall Schmidt Maslow." 
Annabel and I smiled. "We love it" I said. 
Kendall looked back down at little Kendall "Hi there. I'm your Uncle Kendall." 
After everyone met little Kendall, Kendizzzle as Kendall insisted we start calling him, we left Annabel to sleep. It was around 6AM and I couldn't imagine how tired she must've been. 
I decided to do some running around. It was 6 AM and I wasn't allowed to take Annabel and Kendizzle home until at least 6 PM. Logan, Carlos, and Kendall decided to take me out to lunch. We talked and had a good time. Finally I went home and slept. I woke up at 1:00. I was home alone so I decided to call Carlos, Logan, and Kendall. 
"Get over to my place. I have an idea."
