Chapter 35
*Flashback to James and Annabel age 7*"I don't wanna." James whined.
"Just do it..." Annabel said with her signature sass.
"Ugh fine." James gave in.
"You're the daddy, I'm the mommy okay?" She said.
"Ewwww no!" James protested.
"Why not?" Annabel whined.
"I don't wanna be married to you!" James said sticking his tongue out.
"Grow up!" Annabel shot back.
James sighed and gave in to Annabel's demands.
"Honey," Annabel said as she began the role of 'mommy' "how was your day?"
She sat on the ground motioning James to sit with her. They were suppose to seem like they were at the dinner table.
"Good. I went to space!" James said back.

~James's POV~
I laughed remembering Annabel and I at 7 years old and how I did t want to be married to her. "Gosh if only 7 year old me could see me now..." I said to myself. Then I thought of us a little older. We were about 14... We'd both just finished reading "Romeo & Juliet"
*Flashback to Annabel & James at age 14*
"Come on!" Annabel begged.
"Can't we do any other scene?" James whined.
"No the balcony scene is my favorite!" She said pulling a puppy dog face.
"Fine." James gave in.
"I'm Juliet, you're Romeo." She said matter of factly.
"No shit!" I said.
Annabel took a minute to get 'in character'
"Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo." She began.
*End of Flashback*
~Annabel's POV~
There I was in front of the producer, director, and leading man. I was so nervous. I began to read my lines. As I was speaking I though of James's message and I began to feel more and more confident. When I finished the director asked me "You did amazing. You seem a lot more confident... What happened whip you were reading?"
"I...uh... Was thinking about a messages fiancé sent me..."
"Very good. Keep that confidence. You got the job."
Chapter 36
~James's POV~
I snapped out of my flashback to hear my phone ringing.
It was Annabel.
"Hey baby." I greeted.
"Hey honey. I have 2 things to ask/tell you." She said.
"Alright."
"1. Can I get your autograph for a lady's daughter? And 2. I got the job!!" She said.
"Of course. I'll get a picture. And congratulations baby! I knew you could do it!" I congratulated her.
"Thanks sweetie. I'll be him later. Going out to lunch with my producer, director, and my male co-star, okay?" She said
"Yeah. Celebratory dinner later?"
"Of course."
I hung up and looked at my little boy. "Mommy's going to be a star!!" I said picking him up.
He clapped, I wonder when he'd break that, then he said "mommy!!"
"Yes mommy!" I said. "She'll be home later okay?"
His birthday party was tomorrow. Tonight Annabel & I had to do some last second planning. It was nothing special just a bunch of family and friends coming over.
I quickly texted Annabel:
'I'll finish planning Kendall's party for tomorrow okay?'
She quickly replied:
'Sure honey! Thank you!! You're amazing!!! I'll have a surprise for you when I come home!!!! ;)'
I decided not to respond and leave her alone to have fun.
Kendall was slowly falling asleep. I scooped Kendall up and put him in his crib. I watched him fall asleep. Then I sat and just watched him sleep. I was really bored. I wanted Annabel to come home so I could get her surprise. I knew exactly what it was and I couldn't wait...
I fell asleep in a rocking chair for probably a half hour.
I woke up to a knock at the door. Who could it be? Annabel had a key so she wouldn't knock...
