Chapter 31
~Cathy's POV~

It was around 11 PM. I looked in James's room. Annabel and Kendall were fast asleep. I shut off the light and closed the door. Then I picked up the phone.

"Hello." That familiar male voice answered.

"Hi honey" I replied

"Oh mom, hi..." He said sadly.

"You were expecting Annabel weren't you?" I said.

"A little." He confessed. "Mom I think I really messed up. I have no idea where she is... She just took Kendall and left."

"Don't worry sweetie." I began "she's here, with Kendall, and she's safe. That's why I called. She told me to tell you she's okay."

"She's with you?! Can I talk to her?!" He asked anxiously.

"No, she's asleep. But I'll tell her you asked." I said.

"Tell her I'm sorry and try and talk her into calling me?" He asked.

"Sure thing honey. Love you." I replied

"Love you too" he said hanging up.

~Annabel's POV~

I woke and looked over at my phone. I was surprised to see no texts from James. It was about 9 AM. I saw Kendall wasn't there. Then I saw a note... From Cathy.

It read:

"hey honey. I called James like you asked. He's relieved you are safe but he asked me to tell you if you could please talk to him. I'm taking Kendall to the park and spending the day with him. I want you to think and decide whether to talk to James or not

Love, Cathy."

I made myself breakfast and watched tv. I thought about what Cathy said for a good 2 or 3 hours. Finally I decided I'd hear him out. I texted him:

To: The JAMAZING James 😍

"Hi. I'm still VERY upset with you but I'll hear you out. We'll get coffee at 1PM. See you then."

It was 12:30 now. I showered and put on my clothes. I was wearing a nice shirt and skinny jeans. I put on a natural makeup look. I looked in the mirror making sure I was ready. Something tells me putting on makeup was a bad idea.

I left and took a bus to the coffee shop we were meeting at. When I arrived he was already there waiting. I sat at a table with him.

"Hi." I said.

Chapter 32
~James POV~

"You look beautiful as always." I said sweetly.

"Do NOT try and sweet talk me. I am still VERY angry with you." She said point blankly.

"Alright." I replied. "I'm sorry."

At that point she kind of blew up. "Obviously I can handle my mother. I survived 4 years without YOU." She said angered.

"You're going to blame this on me?! What was I suppose to do?! Give up my career?!" I shot back.

She stayed silent for a little. She was trying to hide it but she was about to cry.

"You. Were. My. Reason. To. Live." She said.

Now it was my turn to be quiet. How was I suppose to reply? I was shocked. I broke down. I didn't even care we were in public. Annabel came and sat on my lap.

"Don't cry." She whispered.

"I- I- I'm sorry." I said between my tears.

"Shhhh," she began "why are you sorry."

I took a minute to calm down. Finally I said "Because. I shouldn't have left. I should've stayed with you. I knew your mom was horrible but I still left. I loved you but I still left."

"It's alright, I'm okay now." She replied.

"Are you still angry?" I asked.

"How can I be when I just watched you cry?!" She said with a smile.

Our lips connected. The kiss began to get heated.

"Not here." She said breathlessly.

"Come on baby. Lets go home!" I said with a smirk.

"What about Kendall." She asked.

"He can spend the night with his grandma." I said winking at her.

I smiled. "Oh..." She said returning his wink.

We called Mrs. Maslow. She was happy James and I made up and agreed to keep Kendall.

We got home and as soon as I closed the door i pushed Annabel against the wall. He planted small kisses on my neck.

"Stop. That's so hot" Annabel said.

I winked again. "No that's you."

I picked her up and brought her into the bedroom. I'd never wanted someone's body so much.

Our lips connected again. This time, being we were in private, our kiss was much more passionate.

She began to pull up my shirt.

I stopped her. "Are you sure?"

"Positive." She said pulling my shirt over head.
