So Hikaru and Kaoru ended up winning the constest, but they came downstairs grumpy.
"C'mon, I said I was sorry. What do you want me to do? Sorry I kicked you out of bed. It was an accident." Hikaru groaned. "Accident or not. My back is killing me." Kaoru glared. I chuckled at the table I was at with Haruhi.
I didn't pay attention much, but apparently Tamaki wrote a handbook for the host club. "Wait, rule number five is that we have to be up by six? Have Kyoya and Honey read this yet?" Kaoru asked.
"Ha! Good luck getting Dany up. Most days she doesn't get up until eleven. The first day I tried waking her up at eight, and she had a knife under her pillow that she held to my throat. Do Kyoya and Honey have anything on that?" Haruhi said and I pretended to ignore them as I sipped on my tea at my table.
"But she's up now..." Kaoru said. "Yeah, I found that weird." Haruhi said and I looked over, pretending to be confused. "What are you four looking at?" I asked and they turned away.
A boy walked in with a box of groceries and Misuzu called Haruhi over to put them in the fridge. "Haruhi... Fujioka?" The dude asked. "Hey... Arahi." She said.
"So uh... these your friends?" He asked and I took my cup of tea and walked over, leaning on Haruhi's shoulder, giving her a sideways glance.
"Introduce us, lovely." I hissed. "Oh yeah. That's Hikaru and Kaoru. And that's my sen- an acquaintance of mine. And this is Dany." She said, gesturing to me. I took a small sip of tea.
We all went back and the club and I sat back and watched them talk. Well, not Hikaru and I. It was their privacy.
"So he's a friend of hers from middle school?" Kyoya hummed. "They've had zero contact since, so I wouldn't say friends. Only old classmates." Hikaru huffed and Kaoru and I looked over at him oddly.
Then Hikaru did the unimaginable. "Hey Haruhi, don't you think you should be working?" He called with his empty glass in the air. We all stared and I leaned over and smacked him upside his head.
"Ow! What was that for?!" He looked at me. "You're being a dick. Stop it." I said and he sunk back in his seat.
A few more minutes and Hikaru decided to speak up again. "He's trying to use the refreshing innocent technique. Someone should tell him we already had a refreshing contest." He said. "You're being unusually critical." Kyoya said. "I'm just sayin'! It's obvious this guy has a thing for Haruhi." He said and I got up, grabbed his hand and dragged him out.
"What do you want?" He asked. "What is your problem? Are you feeling okay?" I snapped. "I feel fine." "Are you sure? Cos ever since Haruhi's friend walked in you've been nothing but a critical asshole." I said.
"I'm not being an ass-" "Yes you are!" I cut him off and sighed. "Look, who cares if he likes Haruhi. As a friend, you could at least be happy for her, even if you don't approve of the dude. And for me, I don't want it to be known to her friend that my boyfriend is a complete douchebag. So start acting right or you'll be able to call yourself single." I warned and he glared at me. "Fine." He huffed.
He walked back to them and I just decided to go to my room and chill out. I let the psychotic side out a little bit, and I didn't want to slip up and hurt anyone.
I locked myself in and paced around. "Okay... calm down. No biggie. Just chill out..." I sighed, running my hands through my hair and grabbing my head.
"Why can't I calm down?!" I huffed angrily.
I'm going to hurt someone if I don't chill now.
