The next day was Saturday, so I spent it by shopping and distracting myself from all my issues and shit.

I did my own makeup and get dressed and left and went to the mall and bought some outfits and shoes, then went to the book store to look at what shit I could get.

I was in the manga section when I heard a soft "hey" in a familiar deep voice. I looked over and saw Mori staring at me. "Mori-senpai..." I said softly, chewing on the inside of my bottom lip.

We stood there in silence for a bit, until I thought of something. "Where's Honey-senpai?" I asked. "Over at the café, eating cake." He said and I nodded. "Any of the other club members?" I asked and he shook his head. "Oh. Okay." I nodded.

We were in silence a bit longer and he turned to walk away. "Mori." I said it before I could stop myself. He turned to look at me as I struggled for the right words. "Are... are we..." I took a breath. "Are we okay?" I asked, then kind of regretted that I asked.

"I don't know." He answered, taking a step towards me. "You don't love Hikaru. You don't even like him..." "I like Hikaru." I interuppted. "You told me you didn't." "Well... not romantically. But I'm trying to." I said. "Why?" He asked. "Because I care about him. Because he's nice and he genuinely likes me. I don't want to break his heart for some selfish reason." I shook my head.

"You're going to break his heart either way. He's going to find out." Mori said and I shook my head. "You won't tell him." I said. "Who says I won't?" "I say." "Why?" He took another step towards me. "Because we're friends. You care about me, and I care about you. If I was hurt, you'd feel bad, just as I felt bad when you were hurt." I said and he took another step towards me, now less than a foot of space between us.

"What I don't understand is why you care so much about mine and Hikaru's relationship." I said and he dipped down and his lips touched mine for a few seconds before pulling back. "That's why." He said and walked away.

Oh.

I got out of the store and the limo driver drove me home and I called Hikaru. "Dany? You okay?" He asked once he answered. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just..." I suddenly got embarrassed. "What?" He asked, and I sighed. "I missed you, and Courtney and Willam are out and my mom's at work, so I was going to ask you to come over..." I said biting my lip. "I'll be there in ten." I could picture him smiling as he said it. "Kay." I grinned and hung up.

I took makeup remover and wiped shit off my lips and made sure my eyes didn't look too racoon-like and popped a mint in for it to dissolve by the time Hikaru got here.

He rang the doorbell and I pulled it open and pulled him in and shut it closed, then kissed him. "Whoa. You okay?" He asked, pulling back. "Yeah. Just missed you. A lot. I was out shopping and there were couples fucking everywhere." I sighed, taking his hand and leading him up to my room.

"Hey, I have a question." "Yeah?" We said once we were up in my room and I shut the door. "When Kaoru stayed over here who knows how long ago, did he sleep with you in your room?" He asked and I shut the door, making my way over to him. "Nah, we slept in the living room on the couch. You're actually the first guy that's ever been in my room." I said and he pulled me close to him by my waist and tilted my face down so he could kiss me feverishly.

This was one thing I liked about Hikaru. He was really good, and I mean really good, at kissing. Even though I didn't really like the idea of kissing, putting mouths together and saliva being shared and all that shit, Hikaru found some way to make me want to kiss him all the fucking time.

I took a daring chance and kneeled with my legs on either side of him, and he kept his arms around my waist to pull me even closer so I was straddling him on his lap.

And we stayed like that for God knows how long.
