The next day I got up and got dressed and flew down the stairs because I don't know. I guess I was excited.
I saw the host club down in the lobby, and Hikaru gave me a giant smile. I gave him a smile, then my eyes flashed over to Mori, who looked more serious today than ever. I pretended I didn't notice.
I walked down the stairs and Hikaru took my hand and spun me around. "You look cute. I didn't know you could dress this way. I thought all you had in your closet was black." He said and I softly hit his arm, making him laugh. "I can be cute in other clothes if I want!" I stuck my tongue out at him. "Of course you can. Come on." He said and pulled me out as I waved to the others.
We went out and walked along the sidewalk until we came to an ice cream vendor. "Ice cream for breakfast?" Hikaru asked. "Why not?" I shrugged and pulled him along.
We got ice creams, me with vanilla and Hikaru with strawberry, and we walked around, talking and such and just checking things out. Hikaru finished his ice cream before me and slipped his arm around my waist as we walked and I was still eating my ice cream.
"You take a long time." He sighed. "Shut up! I'm making it last!" I said, taking an angry lick. He licked up another side. "Hikaru!" "What? It was dripping." He said and I put on the most childish irritated face I could. "You already had your ice cream!" "I paid for both of ours." He said, giving me a side glance. "True..." I hummed and he grinned and pecked my cheek.
"Y'know, I really do like that dress on you." He said. "Aw thanks. But why? Cos it's short?" I grinned. "Yes, but no. It compliments you." He said and I felt a little blush rising to my cheeks. "Oh my god, you're so cute when you're embarrassed!" He said and hugged me. "I'm not embarrassed! Hikaru!" I said and tried to pull away from him.
He laughed and caught my hand and I was soon a smiling idiot. I gave him the rest of my cone to finish and I tried to control my blushing and idiotic smiling. We made our way to a park and sat on a bench together. I stared at the birds playing in a small pond and eating and just flying around while deep in thought.
"What are you thinking about?" He asked, pulling me closer to him. "How much I hate you." I grinned and he turned my face to face him. "Aw, don't hurt me like that." He smiled. "Never said how much I hate you." I smiled. "How much, then?" He asked. "No hate. Dislike... now that's another topic." I laughed as his jaw dropped. "You wound me so." He said, putting his hand over my heart. I laughed and pressed my lips to his, shutting the both of us up.
I soon pulled back and leaned on his shoulder.
Hate to admit it, but I might actually be falling for him.
Just a little, though.
