Just for the Summer

Chapter 11

We walked in through Dicks Sporting Goods, it was where the boys wanted to be.  Kaleah, Abbie, and I walked out. We navigated our way to the stores we usually shopped at.

The boys found us as we walked out of Bath & Body Works. The boys hated it in there. They only had 2 bags. Chad grabbed all of my bags. We walked to our cars. Chad set my bags in the back seat. Abbie and Zach walked over to us. Stratton and Kaleah did too.

"Where are we going to eat?" Zach asked. He was always thinking about his stomach.

Abbie, Kaleah, and I looked at each other. They knew where we were going. I stole Chads keys and hopped into his car. Kaleah asked for them and when Stratton said no she tried grabbing them out of his hand. Stratton started ticking her. She laughed. Strattons grip on the keys loosened Kaleah shot her hand up and ran to his car. Abbie kissed Zach. He dropped his keys. Abbie reached down grabbed them, flung the door open and closed it before he could pick her up and carry her to the passenger seat. Chad just sat in the passenger seat watching me drive.

I knew where we were going. Chad figured out where we were going because of the way I went. He leaned over kissed my cheek and whispered,"We're going on a date. I'll pick you up at 7."

I smiled. It had been at least a month and a half. "Oh and I know where we're eating too," he  said.

"Sureeeee"

"B-Dubs."

"Nope. Your wrong."

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are."

"Then where?"

"It's a secret."

I saw Chads hand move. I knew what he was going to do. "Don't!"

His hand hovered above my stomach. I was trying to focus on driving. "Then tell me," he whined.

"You sound like a baby."

He dropped his hand and tickled me. "Stop, I'm driving."

He stopped. His hand moved and grabbed my hand that I didn't have on the wheel. I pulled into the parking lot where we were eating.
