Just for the Summer

Chapter 18

Chads P.O.V
I rolled over to see Hannah asleep half off the bed. She was in one of my shirts which was huge on her and spandex. Her thick dark brown hair covered most of her face. I was surprised that I was up before her.
I started thinking about our date last night. We went out to Olive Garden. We talked about how cute our friends are together and just random stuff. After we ate we walked a few blocks down to a park. We sat on the swings. I stared at her. She caught me. We came back to my house. My dad took my mom on a vacation and my older brother and sister were in college or were home with their families.
We sat on the couch and watched T.V. She had her head on my shoulder.
I stopped thinking about it when I heard the blankets move. I knew she had woke up. She looked at me and smiled.
"Good morning." She said.
I didn't reply. I pulled her closer and kissed her. She wiggled closer putting herself right next to me. I had my arm around her shoulder and held her hand. Her phone buzzed. She rolled away. She looked at the text. Se quickly replied.
"What did it say, who was it?"
"It was Madi. She wanted to know if she could come over later."
"Why?"
"I know you don't really like her. Can you just get to know her better?"
"Sure."
I pulled her closer. I wanted to spend the day with her. My arm wrapped around her, holding hands. I looked at her as she kept her eyes on the t.v. She seemed into whatever she had picked. I got hungry and walked to the kitchen. Hannah followed me. I searched through the cupboards. She found a box of Ramen Noodles. It reminded me back when we first started talking, she was having spaghetti and I had Ramen Noodles. She freaked out and said she loved them. She grabbed a pot and made her noodles. I, on the other hand, still searched for something. I ended up grabbing a box of Goldfish. We back to my room and watched more t.v. The boys called asking if i wanted to go out. I looked at Hannah. I knew she could hear what they said. She nodded. I told them that I would meet them at Strattons place in a few hours.

Once I was off the phone she told me she had to leave. She had already finished her food, she ate fast. She grabbed her dress and heels from last nights date. I got up and gave her a long, slow kiss. She hugged me and grabbed her keys off my t.v. stand. I followed her out the Madi's car that was waiting in the driveway. I waved and went back inside.
