I couldn't believe my eyes. I felt like they deceived me. It couldn't be. I stared at my phone. My messages were open. The most recent: "We're done I don't like you anymore." It was from Jordan. I reread it again trying to wrap my mind around what had just happened. I took a deep breathe and dialed Serina's number.
"H...h...he bbbbroke up with me."
"What?" She sounded sleepy. I think I woke her up.
"Jordan broke up with me. He said he didn't love me anymore." I started crying even harder.
"Tam, boys come and go but I'll be here whenever you need me."
"Thanks." I stopped crying as hard.
"Tamryn if you need me call or text me I'm going to bed. You should get some sleep, too."
"Okay."
We hung up. I put my phone down. I wiped the makeup of my face and walked to bed. I fell asleep.
When I woke up I instantly reached for my phone to text Jordan. Then it hit me we weren't together anymore. I heard my doorbell go off. It was about 9 o'clock. I got up and walked to the door. I opened it. There I saw was my ex boyfriend before Jordan.
"Lonnie, what are you doing here? Don't you live in Mississippi?"
"I moved back. I stopped by to say hi and that I'm back." He got taller and grown more muscle since the last time I saw him.
He took a step closer and kissed me. I felt my whole world spin. All of my worries washed away. I realized that I still loved him and wanted to be with him. He took a step back and said bye. He ran off into a car and drove away leaving me there wondering what to do.
