Read My Bloody Lips*Ch.7*

Jake parked the bike out front and we headed inside.The moment we entered the foyer fell silent and everyone turned to look at us.

"Oh there you two are!" cried Mrs.Dante.She rushed towards us and hugged us both.Overprotective much?

"Mom.Please.I just took Kyra on a motorcycle ride to my favorite spot."Jake said as he gently pushed his mother away from us.I gave her a reassuring smile and she seemed to relax a bit.

"Well you could have atleast left us a note Jakeriye."She said as she turned and walked away.Jake cursed under his breath at his mother calling him by his full first name.Drake sauntered over to us with a sheepish smile on his face

"h-hey Kyra..."he mumbled."look I'm really sorry about um..well everything."He said as he kept his eyes downcast.I rested my hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry about it everything is cool now."I said.Drake finally looked up at me and smiled.

"so..um I can make it up to you..wanna come hang out with me for a bit?" he asked.before I could even open my mouth to respond Jake growled from behind me.

"No she doesn't.In fact she is tired she was just getting ready to go take a nap"Jake hissed darkly at his brother.Drake shot his brother a glare but his gaze immediatly softened once he glanced at me.

"Well I guess maybe another time." he said softly before walking away.Jake wrapped one arm around my waist and tugged me up the stairs to my room.I pulled away from.

"Jake what the hell! did you ever think that maybe I actually wanted to hang out with Drake!"I shouted.Jake glared at me.

"Kyra I don't want him near you! For God's sake he HURT you!"Jake spat back.

"Yeah well you hurt me too!"I yelled before yanking open my bedroom door and slamming it in Jake's face.I collapsed onto my bed.I felt tears prickle my eyes.Why did my parents have to die?!Why did I have to be sent here?! Here people look at me like I'm something to eat and im the rope in a game of Tug O War between two immortal brothers! Could things get more messed up?!I sobbed into my pillow.Thats when I felt the bed sink down and someone rub my back soothingly.I never even heard somebody come in. I finally managed to stop crying and I fliped over onto my back to see who was comforting me.It was Jake.No suprise.

"Kyra...I'm really sorry..."he whispered.A few more tears escaped my eyes.There was an awkward silence between us.Jake stood up.

"I'll just go.."he murmured as he turned and started to walk away.

"NO!"I blurted grabbing his hand.Jake nodded sat back down.I quickly crawled into his lap and burried my face in his chest and cried.I finally quit crying and just curled up with Jake on my bed randomly flipping through channels on the t.v. I huffed with annoyance and turned the t.v off.Jake laughed.

"what was the point of that?" he asked.I shrugged.Jake pulled me closer to him.

"Jake?"I asked.

"Hmm?"came his response.

"isn't it weird for you to like kiss me and stuff cause...aren't we like...siblings now?"I asked awkwardly.He laughed.

"No.It's not weird because we aren't siblings.My parents are just keeping you under our roof until its legal for you to live on your own.It's not as if we adopted you."He explained.

"Oh... well..I guess that's a good thing.."I mumbled.Jake sat up and looked down at me.He smiled.

"it is a VERY good thing"He said.Jake slowly leaned down and kissed my lips softly just as he had before.I wrapped my arms around his neck.Jake began kissing along my jaw line.Worry flooded me.What if he bit me again?But the worry disappeared as quickly as it had come.His soft lips started to make there way down my neck and I tangled my fingers in his hair .His lips hovered over the same spot and kissed it repeatedly.All of a sudden I felt his fangs graze my neck.I tensed up all over and panic raged inside me.Jake kissed my neck once more before his eyes met mine.

"Please don't be afraid of me...I swear I wwill NEVER intentionally hurt you again Ky.."He said softly.I nodded slowlyI leaned up and kissed his lips when my bedroom door slammed open.

"Just taking a nap huh?!"Drake growled
