I took in another deep breathe for about the millionth time.Alilah had helped me get ready.She curled my hair and had half of it clipped up with a ruby studded heart shaped clip to match the snug,strapless ruby red bridesmaid dress.

"There."Alilah announced after finishing my makeup.I turned to look in the mirror.She had outlined my eyes with jet black eyeliner and jet black mascara and she had smoothed some ruby red lipstick on to my lips.I smiled half heartedly to her.

"Thanks."I murmured.Alilah frowned and enveloped me in a hug.I squeezed my eyes shut fighting to tears.I knew they would come at some point but she JUST did my makeup.I sighed and pulled away.

"Well....this is it."I barly choked out.Alilah nodded slowly and rubbed my back.

"Jake will find a way for you guys to be together sweetheart.I know him.He will make sure you two end up together even if it's the last thing he does.Just don't give up on him."She soothed.I nodded remembering his words from the beginning of the week 'I'm gonna fight for us.'I inhaled deeply one last time before linking arms with Alilah and walking down into the foyer where last minute preparations were being done for the Reception.As we descended down the stairs I heard someone gasp.I looked to see Jake gaping at me.I tried to hide my smile.The moment I reached the bottom of the stairs he ran up to me and grabbing my hips he lifted me up into the air, spinning me around.He finaly set me back down.His eyes scanned me all over.

"You look gorgeous Ky.."he said breathlessly.I blushed and looked down.He lifted my head up to look at him again.I lost myself in his stunning green eyes.Why did I feel like I was looking at them for the last time?Before I knew it I felt his lips pressed up against mine.I wrapped my arms around his neck.I then remembered my red lipstick and pulled away.He couldn't go to his wedding with lipstick on his lips.Luckily none of it rubbed off.Jake pulled me into a hug.I never wanted to let go.

"I love you Kyra Makenna Elaine.I love you and only you.Don't ever forget that."He whispered in my ear.I hugged him even tighter.We pulled away as Alilah cleared her throat.I turned to tell Jake I loved him back but all I saw was him disappearing out into the garden to take his place at the altar.Didn't seem like he was fighting very hard for us...Mrs.Dante came running up to us.

"Come, come now girls the wedding is about to start!"She bumbled frantically.We followed her out to the garden.The soft melody floated through the air and I linked arms with Hayden and began walking down the aisle followed by Alilah and her escort and Tera and her escort.At the altar Hayden and I part ways and I went and stood to the side of the altar.Jake was staring at me the whole time but I tried to ignore his gaze.That's when Here Comes The Brides began to play and Elle gracefully made her way down the aisle.My eyes flickered over to Jake.His eyes were locked on Elle.I took a shaky breath.I had to pull myself together.At last Elle reached the altar.Jake carefully lifted her veil and smiled at her.A genuine smile.He wasn't having to fake his happiness.He WANTED to marry her.It was obvious.The Pastor began speaking.I tuned him out as best I could.But then came the 'I Do's'.Time seemed to stop as Jake said 'I Do' to someone else.The tears came.They overflowed from my eyes and I sprinted from the altar and I threw down my bouqet.All eyes were on me but I didn't give a damn.I ripped off my heels and threw them over my shoulder and sprinted from the garden.I didn't get very far before I was tackled to the ground.I rolled on to my back to see Jake.Just as I was opening my mouth to scream at him to leave me be his lips crashed on to mine.He accidentally nipped my lower lip making it bleed.He pulled away.His green eyes burned into mine.He pulled me to my feet and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Read.My.Bloody.Lips.Kyra.....I LOVE YOU!"He pleaded.I shook my head and pushed him away.I saw tears form in his eyes as more tears spilled from my own.I turned and started walking away.I loved him I did...but I needed to get over him.We'd never be together.

"Goodbye Jakerye...."I said as calmly as I could.I started walking down the drive of the Estate, the sunset to my back and the man I loved.

"I love you...."I whispered.
