Read My Bloody Lips*Ch.16*

I was awake but I didn't want to open my eyes.I wanted this all to go away.

"Kyra....can we talk?"came a voice.I opened one eye to see who it was.It was the gorgeous boy.I sighed and sat up.

"sure"I yawned.He smiled an awkward smile at me.

"Well I'm Jake...I'm Drake's older brother..."He said.I nodded.He looked down and fiddled with his thumbs.

"Jake....is their something else I should know...."I asked softly.He let out a shaky breath and when his eyes met mine again they were filled with tears.My heart ached to see him in pain.But why?What past connection did I have with Jake?I grabbed his hand and closed my eyes and let my mind be still.My heart throbbed as Jake squeezed my hand.

"Search harder!"Past's voice whispered.I took a deep breath and imagined myself with Jake.Trying to fake memories with him hoping that it would spark the lost ones.All of a sudden an image flashed in my head.For a very brief moment I saw me and Jake.We were kissing with his arms around my waist and mine around his neck with a stunning valley behind and a motorcycle parked near us.I gasped as my eyes flashed open.Jake looked at me hopefully.I beamed at him and jumped up and hugged him.

"A memory came back!It was VERY short but it was me and you and we were kissing and this gorgeous valley was in the background and we were standing near a motorcycle!"I squealed with joy.Jake held me tight and laughed with what seemed like joy and releif.

"How'd you bring the memory back Ky?"he asked astonished as he set me down.I thought for a moment.

"I'm not totally sure.I just made up memories of you hoping that one of the fake memories would having something similar to a real one and spark my memory and it worked!"I said.Jake smiled down at me.

"C'mon I'm sure everybody else will be excited to hear about this."he said as he took my hand and started leading me from the room.

"Jake wait."I said stopping in my tracks.He stopped and turned to look at me.

"What is it?"he asked worried.

"Why were we kissing?What were we?were we in an relationship?"I asked a little embarrassed.Jake was quiet for a moment.

"We weren't in a relationship.But we were in love...."He said.I smiled at him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"...and we still are in love."I said.Jake smiled down at me.He pulled me close to him and kissed my lips softly.

"without a doubt."he said reassuringly.
