I sprinted through the doors labeled EMERGENCY.I skidded around the corner and sprinted through countless sets of double doors down the seemingly endless hallway.Tears spilled from my eyes.This was exactly like the day Mom and Dad died....except Cammi was running beside me but this time Jake was in her place.All of a sudden several nurses blocked my path.

"Ma'am.Please wait in the lobby.Ma'am please,Calm down."One of them said.I looked past the nurses and saw several doctors dash into one of the ER rooms as that dreaded beeping noise pierced the air.Beep...Beep...Beep......Beeeeeeeeeeeep.

"NO!"I screamed shoving the nurses aside and running into the room.I knew it was Cammi.I don't how but I just knew.I froze in the doorway.

"No....."the word barley escaped my throat.I watched as the doctors shocked her chest over and over again.My eyes drifted from her pale limp body to the heart monitor.That green line was straight as an arrow.I collapsed to my knees.My heart twisted violently in my chest.But then I realized that I didn't even know what killed her.I heard sobbing fill the room.I looked up to see Aunt Claire shaking her head, her brown curls bouncing as the tears streaked her cheeks and her frail hand covered her mouth.I stood and slowly stepped up to her.I rested my hand on her shoulder.

"Aunt Claire....what happened to her?"I asked barly a whisper.Aunt Claire shuddered and lifted her head.Her silver eyes glaring at something.....glaring at Jake.She pointed an accusing finger at him and began shaking with fury.

"THAT MONSTER ATTACKED HER!"she screamed.She lunged towards Jake but I pushed her back.The doctors restrained her.I turned to Jake.

"But you were with me the whole time...the only time you weren't was when you went to get your tattoo...."I gasped.I locked eyes with him.

"Jake please tell me it's not true!"I pleaded.He was silent.
