Luke's POV

I shot up from my bed and rubbed my eyes. It was just a dream. I sigh and just lie there. Man, of course it would be a dream. Calum actually loved me back. I sigh yet again and pick up my phone.

Calum: hi

Calum: are you awake

Calum: hello?

Calum: rood don't ignore me :(

Calum: PUKEY LUKEY ANSWER

Luke: good morning

Calum: finally! Geez

Calum: oh and good morning

My stomach tossed and turned. Goodness Luke, don't get excited. You'll never become a thing. He doesn't like you. And besides, you have Ashley. I nod and then got out of bed.

*Michael has started a conversation with Luke*

Michael: Ashley is available tonight.

Luke: oh okay

Michael: c'mon dude! Cheer up. You have to move on from Calum.

Luke: I guess...

Michael: okay you can discuss it with her, this is her number: xxx-xxx-xxxx

Luke: okay but how do I start it?

Michael: just say that you're Luke

Luke: okay..

I wish I could go on a date with Calum, not Ashley. I mean, I barely know the girl. With Calum, it feels like I've known him for forever. I sigh and go back to my phone.

Luke: it's Luke

Ashley: oh hi! So I'm available tonight? What about you? How about 7pm?

Luke: um okay

Ashley: okay great! If my dad answers the door, don't be afraid :)

Luke: oh okay.

*Luke has left the conversation*

That was true torture. She seems like the clingy type, honestly. She didn't even let me answer if I was available tonight or not! Man, I bet Calum wouldn't have been like that. Luke, shut up already. Stop comparing everyone to Calum. I sigh and get a text.

*Calum has added Ashton and Michael to the conversation*

Calum: should we practice today?

Michael: I can't

Ashton: yes!

Ashton: oh

Michael: ;) I'm saving you, you can go on that date with Ashley. Have you talked to her yet?

Luke: yeah

Michael: so, how was she?

Luke: she's kinda clingy :-/

Michael: nah man

Luke: .-.

*Luke has left the conversation*

Calum: why? What are you doing today?

Michael: nothing, it's just that Luke has a date tonight

Calum: oh.

Michael: yeah ;)

Luke: yeah.. Ashley :-)

I had to loose him, so I texted a smiley face at the end. Man, if only- I stopped myself and sighed. I love you Calum.
