Chapter 26

Andy's P.O.V.

I finished packing and we left to this nice steak place downtown.
We all were upset, but nobody looked worse then Ashley. Poor guy. He finally settles down and the girl almost dies.
We pull up to the building.
My phone starts buzzing. I check it.
Its Jade.
"Hey, what's up?" I asked after answering.
She was crying.
"Raven... Raven a-almost d-d-died again! Her h-heart stopped. I-its not likely sh-she will s-survive!" She cried into the phone.
I felt my jaw drop earning reactions from Jake and Jinxx.
"Uh.. Uh, we'll uh be right there," I said into phone.
I hung up.
"We are going to the hospital," I said and sped off.
We got there, luckily, without getting a speeding ticket.
We all ran to the room Raven was in after checking in at the front desk.
We turned the corner into the room. The sight in front of us was shocking.
Raven was hooked up to twice as many tubes as she was before this incident.
She was barely breathing and her heartbeat was dangerously slow.
Lyndsey and Jade were standing next to the bed looking down at the pale girl.
The sight was heart breaking.
Jade was in tears and clinging to Lyndsey. Lyndsey cried into Jade's hair.
I walked over to Jade and tapped her shoulder.
She looked up to me, her previously bright grey gray eyes were now dull, lifeless, and glossed over from crying.
She jumped into my arms and weeped into the crook of my neck.
I kissed her forehead and whispered in her ear that Raven was going to get through this.
I felt a tear fall from my eye. I didn't stop the flow that came after that.

Raven's P.O.V.

I heard people crying. I knew that a lot of people were in this room.
There were a lot of tears. It broke my heart.
My faltering heart.
But I'm still alive and I'm determined to get through this.
If this is how people react when I'm in a coma, how would people react if I was dead?
Every suicidal thought floated away seeing that a lot of very important people care.
I love these people so much.
I can't wait to wake up so that I can see my best friends and the love of my life.
I felt so bad for putting all of them through this.
