I couldn't help but get this picture it was so cute and adorkable ;p
Next Day
I felt some body nudging my shoulders instantly voicing out a growl in the back of my throat not wanting to wake up yet. I heard my brothers voice telling me to get up or he's gonna leave me here, which I'm fine with that. After a couple crunches of the crisp grass being squished on indicated that my dear loyal brother has left.
I heard another voice recognizing it as my teammate Cho and sat up looking around the hill I was dozing off on seeing that I was right. I waved at him and he came closer to me having the slightest blush creep across his cheeks, wondering with suspicion I asked what was wrong but he didn't say a word back only motioning for me to follow. I got up to my feet making sure my hood was up and dusting off unwanted grass leaves off my butt and back following my hyper active friend.
We walked through the crowded part of the village bumping through people to get by getting a few glares and 'excuse me's' here and there. After many minutes, we made it to the other side of the village almost like our training grounds except it had a few more trees spread out and bushes having not that much open space. Choniko hasn't said one word neither making a sound like he usually do which concerned me. He had his back towards me walking over to a tree, but never moved. I had a not so settling feeling about this moment in my stomach.
"Cho, what's up bud?" I asked walking closer to his mute form.
He stuttered, "Akaruikage?" Not looking away from the tree, so I put my hand on his shoulder "Are you feeling ok?"
"Oh, I'm fine but you won't be" He said darkly all of a sudden.
My mind was replaying the words he just announced, but felt a tug on my arm that I had on Choniko's shoulder getting it wrapped around my front side and my body being pushed harshly against the tree he was in front of hearing a groan growl out of my throat. I could feel another bigger body on my back feeling unwanted nerves crawl down my spine thinking the worst and a sharp object; probably a kunai, against my throat. I couldn't move my other arm finding it being squished between my chest and the bark of the tree.
"Ch-cho whats the meaning of this?" Raising my voice in a harsh tone.
The new voice spoke in a raspy and deeper tone. I cranked my head enough to see a taller man with blank white eyes and a mask to cover his mouth like Kakashi Sensei, a headband was connected to his large hat identifying himself from the Hidden Rain village but that was all I managed to see before feeling the blade press deeper unto my flesh.
"Who are you?" I boomed.
"None of your business brat! Give up on the Chunin Exams and I'll spare your life, maybe" He threatened
I sighed "Is that it?"
He started to chuckle under his mask but completely stopped hearing the tone of my answer and could tell he was dumbfounded.
I wasted no more time in throwing my head back to his face and once feeling the kunai off my throat and hearing him grunt in pain. I kicked my foot out getting contact with his crotch kicking him to a far enough distance away from me to quickly make the hand signs to use my shadow possession doing and watched as my shadow took over his form.
"What i-is going on?" He stammered, "Shadow possession jutsu complete" Ignoring his question.
I stood up from my crouch position and made him mimic me, pulling my left arm up watching him do the same then my other arm did the same motion testing the waters out. I remembered the kunai that laid by his left foot. I looked down to my left making him understand my plan, I forced him to pick up his kunai while I just pretended to and watched as he held his own weapon at his own throat.
