Akaruikage POV

"WHAT!" We yelled in unison

"He wouldn't do that, he was probably talking to Orochimaru at that time and tricked him or something. Third Hokage would never exchange Akarui-chan to be in the Sand Village as a peace offering" My dark haired friend roared at the siblings that didn't look offensive about it.

"So that's what that old geezer was talkin' about" I shook my head talking to myself.

"Nani! You already knew about this Akarui?" Achi groaned.

"A little but he didn't make since at that time" I huffed.

Flashback- 1 year ago

"Come in" I heard behind the door.

I opened the door of the Hokages office finding him writing tons of paper work that piled up his large desk separating a path way so he could see you. He blowed a puff a smoke out through his lips letting his eyes close for a second and averted them to my direction.

"You wanted to see me Third Hokage"

"Yes Akaruikage, sit down sit down and relax" The old man suggested.

I did as told sitting in the seat in front of his desk. He stopped all his paper work sliding some away and smiled at me.

"Nani, I was enjoying my sleep?" I asked annoyed now.

"Miss. Nara, on one day you will have to make a huge decision where it may mean life or death for you and people that are close to you. But remember to think wisely like you always do and that because of your decision you can make the ninja world come to a peace treaty by either staying or moving" Hokage said talking in his usual jibberish talk.

My face was hit with a force called confusion with his weird riddles he loves to give out. If he ain't Dr. Seuss he should stop. Either way, I nodded my head and began getting up and walk out.

"And tell the Love boy I said congratulations on his leadership" the old geezer chimed.

"Right...and I'll make sure to tell Cookie monster that his hotdogs are ready for him" I shut the door.

'What a pain, if he's talking about Achime then the only accomplishment he ever did was sleep longer than Shika" I thought going back home.

Flashback over

"B-but you can't leave, we're a three man squad. He's just confu-"

Choniko's strike was cut off by our red head placing a hand on his shoulder saying that their gonna have a private talk outside.

Once the two left the three Sand team looked confused, I wanted to say it was nothing, until a bus load of sobbing noises took my spot turning my head to the door sweat dropping at the two bakas. I turned my head back to see Temari and Kankuro smirking at me feeling the word 'creepy' shiver its way down my spine.

"So that's your team?" Kankuro smirked.

"Yes, but that's not them cryin-"

I was interrupted again, "Why Akaruikage! Why her, take Achime instead!" I held my head down at Cho's terrible acting.

"Yeah-hey!" Achi yelled

"We wasn't ready!!!"

'What a pain these two are, should I stay? Not like I have a choice the letter just basically said if I don't accept the exchange there's gonna be war and ain't nobody got time for that'

' And you get a opportunity to assist with Gaara and Shukaku'

"Yeah, I guess there's a upside to this"

My two 'cry baby' team mates came back in as if nothing happened a few seconds ago looking anywhere in the room but not at me.

"How long do I have with the Leaf?" I sighed facing towards the siblings behind the desk.

"I'm sorry to say this but the minute you walked in, you've officially accepted the contract treaty" Gaara said in his regular monotonous voice.

I felt a shot of pain blow through my heart while a fat guy runs up to me yanks out my heart crumbles it in my face and eat it (y'all know who that is? XD).

Why would the Hokage choose me? I'm only a Chunin, not even because of the battle but why not a ANBU or Jounin to take the spot?

What will my family say about this? How am I suppose to get a hold of them and tell them all that I love them with all my heart. My friends, my squad, Kiba. We literally just started being together today and now we have to break up, what a pain!

My eyes were starting to burn sucking my sadness up to not show weakness, lips trembling and a cold rush burst into my veins. My hoodie fell over my eyes not bothering to place it back up, the room felt like a closed up cage in a fog of dispare.

Achime was the first to move stomping over the table snatching the letter and read parts of it out loud.

"We both know what will be in the up coming during the Chunin exams...To not settle into war between Sand and Leaf from lose of loved ones in both villages...As a peace treaty I would dedicate one of my many bright children, Nara Akaruikage...I know that you do not like having wandering new comers so let her live there for two years to show that we do not wish to fight with our brethren village...I would respect for you to treat her well and protect her, I cannot let her communicate with her home village for safety reasons...Good luck and safe travels to the other side..." Achime finished reading clutching the paper with trembling hands.

My footsteps didn't make a sound on the hard floor heading over to Achime taking the letter from his grasp slowly so it wouldn't rip. He wouldn't dare look at me but I was okay with that.

"You know I have to do this and I'll be fine, I know the basic steps of acting like a crazy lunatic if anybody messes with me. Make sure you take care of Cho and Sensei while I'm gone" I hugged him.

"This is not goodbye; it's an I'll see you later" Achime whispered in my hair.

"I guess we gotta go back with only two people now. What do we even tell the others when they get suspicious" Our dark haired friend asked coming to us two.

I furrowed my brows telling him to just leave it to Rozu Sensei. I chuckled getting the sad vibes off our chest. My body stood in front of the quiet three telling them I'll escort them out, leading to Temari coming with us but we don't mind.
