Choniko POV

"Are we there yet?" I groaned

"No" Akarui said

"Are we there now"

"No" Achi answered this time

"Are we there yet"

"No"

"Are we there yet" I asked

"NO!!!! " They both yelled annoyed now

I groaned, "We've been walking for hours"

"That's cause it's a Desert, we're moving but with all the sand it looks like we been going around in circles" Said a tired white haired girl.

It's true it does feel like we been at it for hours and I'm starving. My feet hurt, the Sand is burning my toes through these sandals, the heat is cooking us into crispy bacon. Why would so many people want to live in a freaking desert it's nothing but sand, Sand and more dirt-no dirt actually has color in it. Just sandy brown sand that doesn't turn into mud for little kids to play or grow plants because there's no water here.

"Are we there yet" I asked once more.

"Cho why do you keep asking that question" Akarui asked.

"Cause I gotta tinkle" I struggled.

My two team mates that were walking in front of me stop and turned their heads toward me with tic marks on each of their foreheads.

"What?" I asked.

"There's plently of sand for you to pee in dude" Achi exclaimed.

"Oh no no no no, ain't nobody got time to be squatting down getting their booties all dirtied up" I shook my head at them.

"Whatever have it your way" Akarui shrugged

"Are we there yet?" I yelled out.

"Dude-" Achime was cut off by our other team mate.

"Yes, were finally here" she lazily smiled.

"Then let's go so we can get this over with, we're basically cooking right now "

I linked my arms to them giving them no time to think about it and sped off to the large entrance barrier that surrounds the village. Ofcourse we stopped when we saw one of the many men from the post jump down at us with a sword in his hand aiming the sharp object at us.

"Where are yall brats from?" The man sneered.

Achime authority voice spoke out "The Leaf village, we were asked to come here by the Kazekage's family"

"Very well then you may enter"

The Sand village guard led us through the gate going through a narrow path way. Once entering close villagers spotted the three of us and started staring like we were some type of alien from planet 51.

"What's with the eyes on us, it's creepy" I whispered to my team.

"Just act like they haven't seen famous people before" Achi shrugged.

We stood in front of the Kazekage's door with a new guard this time giving us permission to come in. I'm not that much surprised to not see a Kazekage yet in the chair. But the three figures by the window look somewhat familiar.

"Gaara?" I turned my head at Akaruikage.

Her eyes were wide like plates and they sparkled. Nevertheless, a smile still crept on her face until it went to a confused expression. Why are they here anyway?

"Are y'all the ones that sent us this letter?" Achime asked not being phased by their appearance.

"Since we are the Kazekage's kids it's automatically that we hold the spot for the Kazekage until the elders find somebody suitable for the position"

"Say what!?"

Akaruikage POV

"It's great to see you again Gaara" I smiled.

"Same to you Akaruikage" Gaara said in his monotone voice having a slight smile.

The room was bigger than the Hokages room back at the Leaf, which unlike ours held no painting or old Kage's on the wall, only a blank beige canvas without artifacts to express the room.

I still wonder why did they need us anyway if nothing looks wrong with the village or citizens; their not under attack by rouge nin and nothing seems out of place that I know of. I stood in front of my team being in the middle with the messenger scroll in my bag that Rozu told us to give to them when we get there.

I'm surprised yet thrilled to see Gaara here with his team but again surprised to hear the news saying that their siblings and the Kazekage's children at that matter.

'So Sand siblings, got it'

"Nothing seems out of place here in the village so why need assistance from the Leaf" Choniko asked.

"We were told that all the answers will be in the scroll that you three have" Kankuro said motioning his finger to each of us.

I pulled the paper out my tote examining the rolled up thing and stepped closer to the siblings handing it to them on the table fleeding back to my spot with my group watching as they unraveled the written form having the three read over in their heads.

They kept silent making it unbearable to go over to them and see what it says for myself, their faces changed from time to time mostly the blonde haired one except for Gaara which stayed still as a brick, kitty Kat boy's face was in the middle.

'What do you think it says?' I heard Choniko ask to any of us that stood beside him only shrugging our shoulders in response having the feeling they'll tell us soon once they're done reading.

My eyes scanned the office looking outside the huge window that took half a walls space behind the grand desks that held many untidy paper stacks; I could only see the blue dry sky without a cloud in sight and the top of the round buildings and house.

"Well if that's what they previously agreed on, we can't stop it" Purple face caught me out of my roaming process back to here.

"What does it say?" Cho asked.

"It says that our Father and the Third Hokage knew this was gonna happen to them, so instead of going on to another war they wanted to do an exchange." Temari answered our questions.

"What type of exchange were they talking about?" I questioned.
