Chapter 33

Kiba POV

Nothing..

That's all I could do as I watch the girl in the bed laying still as a brick as I sit at the foot of her bed with Akamaru whimpering on my head.

'Great job Akaruikage, I knew you could win but you didn't have to make the guy take a shit in his pants for crying out loud'

Yep, Akarui won the battle once she got over that stubborn screech that sound ninja was causing, it felt like my ears were bleeding I don't know how she could do it since she has my kind of sensitive hearing. 

At the end she used all her strength to punch the guy down and used her bare hands to crush his little weapon into pieces; remarkable as I would say which it was. She finished him of with a super cool jutsu; her shadow formed a huge dark box around that Sound ninja to trap him in. In seconds we could hear him screeching in agony repeatably wondering what he could be seeing or doing in there; it was crazy because it was mute to us of what was in there. Her form stood silent and still the whole time we heard him beg from the mysterious cube, until his voice struck to a stop.

Akarui raised her hand out consuming the box in seconds; what was left made the whole arena gawk at the disabled bloody mess of human chunks; I couldn't even tell where each part of his body was supposed to be.

Since she used up all her chakra. she's resting for now. I insisted on keeping an eye on her until she awakes, leaving Hinata with the rest of the gang at the arena to keep her company.

My ears heard a groan and shuffling, throwing my eyes toward the source feeling my heart beat quicken at the sight in front of me now. Her beautiful midnight colored eyes were slowly revealing itself to the new surroundings, white long hair framed the sides of her face letting the hair tips cup the bottom of her cheek bones watching the angel before me awaken.

Akamaru instantly found his way to her small frame licking her face waking her up more. I heard her groan once more before using her elbows in pain to rise half her body off the mattress and seemed to be shock that I was sitting near her quickly turning her confused expression into a happy one that I couldn't help but smile back at.

"How long was I out?" She rubbed her eyes.

"Only a few minutes and you won, congratulations koinu" I said softly

"How'd I do?"

"Let's see instead of using your usual shadow possession jutsu, you caused the whole arena to watch you take out that guys sound machine with your own hands, take the strikes of many kunai's and senbons head on. Then once they said you was the winner you passed out" I explained

"I would be happy but I'm too tired" Akarui-san moaned.

"Wait Kiba who's fighting now?" She asked out the blue. "Uhh I believe Sasuke and Gaara now"

"Uchiha is here?"

"Yeah, him and Kakashi was late remember but they came when you were escorted out" I mentioned

Akaruikage POV

Wait Kiba who's fighting now?" I asked frantically remembering the mission.

"Uhh I believe Sasuke and Gaara now"

"Uchiha is here?" I asked a bit taken back.

"Yeah, him and Kakashi was late remember but they came when you were escorted out" Kiba mentioned shrugging

Why do I have this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach when I hear those two names together. Gaara, I heard something telling me to help him but it wasn't Sueki this time, it was more boyish in a way sounding so frightened and weak.

I could sense humongous chakra from the red head, then adding to Sasuke's emo power of his colliding will be a tragedy to us all.

Something else is still getting to me about today and it's frustrating that I can't figure it out right now.

"Akaruikage!"

I jumped from my spot on the hospital bed directing my eyes to Kiba's concern face.

"What's wrong Koinu?" He questioned softly

I explained to him what I was thinking hoping that he would get my drift. Nothing adds up; one, why did Dosu attack my friends from the Leaf and not the other nations, is today just gonna be a regular day or not?

So many questions yet with no answer to complete them.

"Maybe you should listen to what your mind and heart are saying and go for it even if it's wrong at the end " My dog-like friend advised.

A bulb lit up in my head; throwing off the sheets scanning over my wrapped shoulder I took Kiba by the wrist and moved as quickly as my little feet could take me already feeling them asleep. My friend didn't say a word only letting me lead him to the others. Our feet hit a step midway upstairs stopping everything when a terrible scream went through our ears sending unwanted scenarios up my brain and goosebumps against my skin.

'Save Gaara..... Don't let Shukaku get out of control..'

"Kiba we have to go. Now! Somethings bout to go wrong"

Without any argument, Kiba nodded his head and kept on running with me which I was grateful for. I heard the accessing continue to get louder and a door way was on sight.

The sight I saw between the two made my knots in my stomach tighten like the way Sasuke had his electrocuted hand penetrated in Gaara's ball of protective sand. His yells were worse than when I had to deal with Dosu's weapon, Gaara kept yelling something about his mother and blood only getting bits and pieces of his muffled voice. My heart started to pound with a ache as if somebody was poking a needle at me.

"Akaruikage what's wrong?" My friend asked throwing a hand on my shoulder.

It was hard to respond to his question feeling my legs go out like jello sending my body to the ground. A pair of arms caught me luckily before I hit the ground gasping out a thank you to my now worried friend before picking my self up.

One thing led to another; a explosion went off, ninjas attacking ninjas, and Gaara and his team escaped with the red head in pain while the Sound ninjas were disguised as ANBU black ops.

" Do the release jutsu now! "

I did as told using the familiar hand signs. With the pain leaving my chest pink rose petals floated down from the sky watching them dance around others casting a secret sleep jutsu; only ones not affected was me, ANBU, and Sensei's who caught on to it.

Kiba and Akamaru were fast asleep at my side even though the scene of the two were adorable I had to get to Rozu or any other people for that matter to see what's going on. My hands took a hold of Kiba's shirt and tugged him to one of the empty seats with Akamaru in his jacket safely with the other sleeping people.

"Akarui duck!"

Doing as instructed, going into a bent position hearing a grunt from a person behind me more closely than I thought a, using my leg I pulled chakra into it sending my foot at the persons chin watching them fly back unconscious. I picked myself up and saw Achime and Rozu Sensei running over to me with concern looks.

"What's going on?" Achime asked to us then Rozu ordered "Enemy invasion, I need y'all to go to shelter now"

"Where's Cho?" I asked looking around seeing Achime frown and say "Under the sleep jutsu"

"I have to help Gaara" I protested

"You mean the boy who's basically starting this right now, yeah absolutely not" Sensei argued with a stern look.

A chakra present was behind us to find Kakashi, Sakura, Naruto and Shikamaru.

"You five need to go get Sasuke and Gaara, fight if you have to. I'm sending Pakkun to sniff them out for you" Kakashi blurted out using summoning jutsu.

Before anyone could come up with an excuse, Naruto had blasted a hole in the wall already and ran out to catch up with Sasuke in the woods and sadly we ran after him.

"You ready Sueki"
