"So where are y'all heading to for the mission?"

"The Sand village" I pressed out.

"Really? After what they did to our home!" Kiba was shocked but I couldn't blame him.

I guess unsure myself "I know but maybe it's them just saying their sorry's to us..."

"Maybe"

We walked for fifteen minutes now with Akamaru leading the trail as me and Kiba hung back some. My hands stuck to my sides, my heart was going insane not cooperating with how I wanted to breathe normally but the closeness of me and Kiba were making it worse.

Why am I feeling like this?

Kiba is my best friend and we always do this, what's with these weird feelings? Ughh stupid hormones; I blame you!

'You can blame the mythical teen attitude all you want. Just admit you fell in love with the guy'

One thing I found out about Sueki; she really loves drama situations.

"That's funny because I don't have feelings for Kiba aka my best friend; which means nothing more nothing less" I said to her.

'Why do y'all humans always have to be so difficult. Just mate and get it over with!'

"Akaruikage what's wrong?"

I looked confused at him "Nothing Kiba, why?"

"For starters; your face is red as a tomato and two; I can hear your heart beating like it's about to pound out of your chest" he teased but still held concern lingering in his voice but then smirked, "Were you thinking about me again"

Which ended up with him getting slapped.

I pushed out a breath I didn't know I was holding on to, stopping in my tracks when Kiba stepped in front of me now being face to chest- well this is a pain.

I looked up at his warm toned skin spotting all of his features more closely at the moment; his sharp tooth poking out of his lips, the traditional rosy red markings that he shared with his clan, his onyx slit eyes that always fascinated me ever since we met, the ruffled up brown hair that I loved to play with at times, and that smile that always warmed me up inside and made me smile back.

"Earth to Koinu, you there koinu" Kiba waved a hand in my face.

My face was getting warmer, yet not doing anything to cause it to stop. His cheeks were soon dusted with redness hearing Kiba's rapid heart beat as well matching mine.

We managed to walk into the park feeling joyed that there wasn't any civilians playing around leaving the three of us to do what ever. I sat on one of the wooden planks as seats for the swing barely feeling my feet touch the ground.

"You still need help swinging yourself I see" Kiba mused.

"Oh shut up and push me"

"What's the magic word"

"Push me or I tell everyone about the time you ate a hand full of Shino's bugs at lunch" I grinned lazily.

"That was an accident and I thought they were the gummies!" Kiba defending himself.

I laughed out loud stopping when Kiba pushed my chair without warning almost loosing my balance on the swing turning my head to give him a death glare which he returned back with his tongue stucked out.

We continued to talk about past memories we shared and they were some pretty good ones. My swinging self was suddenly stopped forcefully. My head tilted up to find my friend looking down at me with something in his eyes that I couldn't read.
