Chapter 11:

4 Minutes

(Lizzy's Point Of View)

I heard the shots. 5 in all. I reached for my phone and quickly dialed 911. I remembered the address from when we has driven here. I gave it, my hand shaking. I accidentally dropped the phone. I was afraid, deadly afraid that Jade would walk in that door.

"Stay on the line with me. We'll be there in about 4 minutes. Stay on the line." I hung up. I couldn't let Jade hear me talking if that was her. I slowly opened the door peaking out. A tall man grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth.

"Shhh!" it was Derek and he motioned for Jack to follow.

Everything was dark. Derek took us to a room with JJ who's gun was out. She nodded for Derek to go downstairs slowly. His footsteps were silent, he looked shocked by what he saw.

4 minutes later...

(Hotch's Point Of View)

I feel the pain Jade intended for me. I try to relax but I have to know Lizzy and Jack are safe. I look to my left. Jades dead body makes me cringe. Derek's leaning over me.

"Hotch man their ok... You'll be ok you'll be ok." he looked unsure and his eyes were wide. I heard an ambulance and someone burst through the door with a stretcher. That's when I blacked out.

(Lizzy's Point Of View)

I'm in shock. That's what Reid says. He keeps telling me to sit down. I keep denying it.

"who's going in the ambulance with him?" I ask eyes red and bloodshot. In four minutes I'd never cried so much in my life and now I had a thought. What if he dies?

The team looked at each other. Strauss said "I'm going." we all looked at each other stunned.

"Strauss ... Are you sure..."

"I have to."

"No..." Derek looked at her. She looked so small, her eyes were red and bloodshot. Aaron's blood was on her hands. She shook like a wet dog.

"I have to. Derek please... He's ... He's..." she walked to the ambulance and got in. Nobody denied her that spot on the ambulance, even Jack was silent.

We all hopped in the cars to drive to the hospital. I was in a car with Derek And JJ.

When Derek stuck in the key, the car blew up, and that's when I saw a light.

I don't know what's happening. Someones got their hand in mine.

(Reid's Point Of View)

"No!" Rossi's holding me back but all I can see is my teams bodies laying there under that fire. I turn on Rossi and hit him as hard as I can with my fist balled tight. As soon as I hit his nose I turn and run, looking for JJ. Her eyes are shut tight and I look through the fire to see Lizzy. I'm scared now and I call for help .

"Help me! Please! Please!"

Rossi has blood coming from his nose and he helps me pull out JJ's frail figure. I lift her up in my arms. I carry her away from the flames and hand her to a paramedic. I run to get Lizzy. Shes in the backseat... Were the blow went off. I don't know what I'll tell Hotch.

I stare at nothing but my eyelids. Because I can't open my eyes.
