Lessons
(Hotch's Point Of View)
Someone shook me awake gently, and I sat up to sew JJ with her go bag.
"Hey there's a case in Nevada. I wasn't sure if you were going, I think you should ask Strauss first." she looked me over. "Or at least pick up your painkillers.
"It'll be fine. Let's keep this a secret till were on the plane, I'll tell her when were in air."
"I don't think that's a good idea..."
"Why wouldn't it be." I stated grabbing my bag.
"If you weren't on charge, I wouldn't let you." JJ said Bending over and grabbing my bag out of my hand.
"Listen I know just don't tell Strauss till were on the plane ok?"
JJ bit her lip then nodded.
"Dude your coming?" Blake raised an eyebrow. "Dude she's gonna flip!"
"I know... Let's just go. I have to do my Job." i walked towards the elevator.
Reid rushed in. "Where've you been?" Derek asked him.
"No-nowhere!" he grabbed his bag and went towards the jet, his hair flying.
"Now that's. A mystery!" Derek chuckled and looked me over.
"Not a good idea...." his eyebrows rose and he grabbed my bag from JJ.
"Hush it's not her decision!" I barked.
"It is her decision. she's in charge and she keeps making sure your ok which leads me to believe your not." Rossi said.
"I have to go. It's work."
"Not when your injured!" JJ looked concerned and helped me walk up the stairs and outside.
We boarded the jet and I sat alone looking out the window.
We took of slowly, and I wasn't in pain since I was sitting down. A phone rang and everyone froze. 30 minutes into our flight and a phone rings.
"It's Strauss!" JJ said loudly.
"Shoot..." I said.
"Busted." Derek grabbed the phone from JJ's hand and opened it.
"This is Derek."
"Is Aaron on that plane?" Strauss scream forced Derek to hold the phone away from his ear.
"Yes he is m'am."
I shook my head at him quickly.
"I'm not messing with her!" Derek whispered.
"I don't want him on that plane! Where are you even headed!"
"Nevada."
"Give him the phone!"
"He's asleep, those painkillers got him knocked out."
El was covering Her mouth with one hand giggling. Even JJ shook her head laughing.
"Tell him I'm coming down there and he's dead!" she hung up.
I gulped. Ok so I should've told her apparently.
"You are going to get fired!" JJ said.
"If you get fired you can always move in with her." El laughed.
