NOTE: 40 hour work weeks and a writing slump is a curse I would not wish on my worst enemy

"Who the fuck decided this was a fun pastime?" Angie wheezed as she, Meredith, and Cristina all jogged through a park near Meredith's house before work. Although, the 'jogging' in question looked a bit more like a pack of disheveled, bumbling, baboons tripping over each other in sweat suits.
"Oh, you're stupid," Cristina groaned in Meredith's direction as she hunched over to catch her breath. "You're a stupid, evil sadist."
Meredith, who'd had the bright idea to take them all running in the first place, continued jogging in circles around a panting Cristina and an exhausted Angie, who was slumped against a tree. Initially, when Meredith showed up outside of Angie's room declaring that they were going running with Cristina, Angie was relieved. She figured the sudden workout would be better than the awkward silence she and Meredith had been floating around in since Addison's arrival.
Angie was rapidly realizing that she would take painful silence over this hellscape any day.
"Meredith, I swear to god, I'm gonna kill you," Angie heaved, but the blonde was unphased. She continued jogging on, forcing Cristina and Angie to fall back into step with her.
"Endorphins are good," Meredith insisted breathlessly. "Endorphins are mood elevators. This is supposed to make us feel better."
"Oh, god, do you feel better?" Cristina snapped, coming to halt again and clutching her stomach.
"I can get plenty of endorphins with 5 minutes and a fully charged rose toy," Angie spat bitterly, plopping down in the grass.
"I'm stupid," Meredith agreed, jogging in circles again. "I'm stupid and we all suck at running."
"Slutty mistress," Cristina snarked, shoving Angie's leg out of the way to sit down.
"Pregnant whore," Angie shot back, nudging Cristina with her foot.
"Lying skank," Meredith fired off, finally ceasing her jogging.
"Ugh, sleeping with our bosses was a great idea," Cristina groaned, covering her face.
"I didn't sleep with my boss, I'd like to make that clear," Angie reminded pointedly, finger in the air.
"You know what's ruined for me?" Meredith asked. "Ferry boats. I used to love ferry boats. Derek loves ferry boats, so now every time I see a freakin' ferry boat—"
"Mark and Addie ruined thunderstorms for me," Angie chimed in. "It used to be my favorite weather on earth. And then I get dumped during one and find out that my best friend slept with the guy who dumped me during another. And then I have the bright idea to move to Seattle, where—"
"You know what's ruined for me?" Cristina cut in. "Coronary artery bypass grafts. And aortic aneurysms. God, I used to love aortic aneurysms."
"We gotta stop sleeping with attendings," Angie grumbled as Meredith finally collapsed into the grass next to him.
"No, we just have to stop sleeping with asshole attendings," Cristina corrected.
"Can you even consider Mark an attending if he has his own practice?" Meredith asked curiously.
"Where do you have sex if he has his own practice? There's no on-call room," Cristina added.
