Chase and I arrived to the beach. We look around for a few seconds before we heard squealing and yelling coming from behind us. We both turned around and I was smothered by a big hug from Mandy and a nod from Zack. You know that weird thing that guys do when they try to say hi but nod? Yea annoying so I went up to him and gave him a big bear hug. I saw girl our age next to mandy.

"Who's that Mandy?" I asked

"Oh yea I forgot about her um  she's my cousin, her name's Lizzy." Mandy replied

"Way to forget about me Mandy and Hi you must be Kayl, I've heard many crazy things about you." said Lizzy

"Yup I'm not surprised I'm pretty crazy." I said

"Crazy enough to stay sane and beautiful." said Chase, while wrapping his arms around my waist

I didnt push him back because there's no point he'd just hold tighter and I'm not strong enough.

"Ok thats enough you love birds" Zack said and smirked

"So what shall we do today?" said Mandy

"OOO lets go boating! and then skinny dipping." I said and joked about the last part

"Mmm would love to see that body of yours Kayl" said Chase

"Thought you already have" said Zack sarcastically

"You two are pervs and I was only joking so calm down." I said

"You guys have a boat?" asked Lizzy

"Oh yea, well it's my parents and I got my license last year and this year I can officially drive it."

"Woa cool! Can we go tubing? I've always wanted to do it and Mandy tells me how fun it is."

"Of course, that would be fun. So guys ready to go tubing?"

"Yea!" They all yelled

I laughed, "Ok well I'll go and get my keys, who wants to come."

"Me babe" said Chase winking at me

"Ugh not you, I see your cute face all the time."

"Mhm cute face huh?"

"I'm being nice, don't make me regret it."

"Hey love birds stop flirting and go get the damn keys" yelled Zack

"Ok ok I will, Lizzy can you come with me?" I asked

"Sure!" she said ethusiatically

We both walked towards the house and then she asked "Are you and Chase dating?"

I burst out laughing for like 10 minutes straight that my stomach started to hurt. She stood there awkwardly and looked at me funny.

"Well it just look like it since he's putting his arm around you and calling you babe and you two flirt a lot and I've just met you." said Lizzy

"Well Chase and I have been best friends since we were born. It's not like that, not like those best friend romances and he does it to annoy me. But I don't show it and I've gotten so used to it that it's just a habit." I explained

"Oh ok."

"Why? You interested?"

She didn't answer me, she played with her hair and looked at the floor.

"OMG!! Awww you and Chase!! That would be the cutest couple!!"

"Woa wait a minute your getting a head of yourself. To get US we need him to like me. Do you mind helping?" She asked
