"I don't owe you anything." Reese walked to the mare and released her from the tree "Reese,please" I walked to her "NO!" she shouted and looked at me,her bottom lip shivered,her eyes moved without stopping,she was agitated. "Tell me." I mumbled,she turned and started walking,pulling the mare behind her. I ran and caught her hand again "stop! Enough!" she yelled,her eyes flooded with tears.

Reese's P.O.V

I stood there,the rope in one hand and the other was clenched,the tears flooded my eyes and I felt them starting to stream down my face. Niall stood in front of me,frozen,he wanted me to tell him,but I couldn't,I didn't want that he'll know,I was afraid that he'll tell.

"Reese let me help." Niall mumbled,I opened my mouth but the words didn't come out,I felt my legs getting weaker,I shivered. "Reese,do you need help?" Niall held out his hand forward "I don't need any help!" I protested and put the rope on Melody's neck,I put my hand on her back and tried to get on it; I've found myself failing and slipping back to the ground. "You need help." Niall said "I don't!" I stopped trying and stood on the ground,facing the mare. I tried to get on her and felt a pair of hands holding me and picking me up. "I could do this alone." I grumbled when I was on the mare. "Thank you will be enough." Niall said and winked.

"You won't stand the pace,climb on." I patted the mare's back and Niall looked at me shocked. "To do what?" he asked confused and I laughed, "what happened? Scared?" I pressed my legs to the mare and she started walking. "No,wait!" he stopped me,I held out my hand and helped him get on.

"Hold my waist" I said after he climbed,his fingers touched me,worried,I sent my hand back and grabbed his hand,I put it on my waist and his other did the same. "Like that." I smiled and held the rope,Melody started walking.

 "Aren't you supposed to work with my dad?" I asked after I returned Melody to her stanble. "He had to drive to the town,a meeting or something like that." Niall scratched his head "a meeting,yeah I'm sure." I smiled and looked down. "What do you mean?" Niall asked,"since my mother is...not here anymore... half of his meetings are dates and the other are buisness,mostly trying to sell horses." I explained and looked at Melody "not here?" Niall was confused,I didn't answer,I turned and walked home.  

"Why don't you stop avoiding?" Niall entered after me "Why don't you stop asking so many questions?!" I attacked him and ran up the stairs.

I slammed the door behind me and leaned on it,my hands was pinned to it on the sides of my body,my breathing was heavy until I burst into tears and collapsed to the floor,I lay in a fetal position,shivered and cried,I held my head and couldn't think.

"Reese?" I heard a quiet voice and ignored it until he knocked on the door. I knew that the knocking was weak,gentle,but they echoed inside my head,hurt me. "Stop! Stop! Enough!" I yelled and the door opened,Niall stood there and looked shocked,confused and surprised. "Go away." I hissed and felt two hands holding me and picking me up "what the hell are you doing?!" Niall didn't answer,he put me on the bed and covered me,I looked at him in a naive look,"why do you care about me? go away." I mumbled and looked and the wall "you have to stop pushing away people who want to help you." he said and sat next to me,"I don't need help" I continued looking at the wall,staring at it in a piercing look; "How old is he?" Niall asked and I looked at him confused,"twenty three" I said, I knew he asked about Zayn "and you are seventeen." Niall said,telling me something that I already knew. "Eighteen." I fixed him,my birthday was in July,a month ago.

Niall got up from the bed and walked to the desk,he stood there for a minute and then turned to me "who's that?" held a framed picture and showed me "that's my brother." I whispered and pulled the blanket,covering myself even more. "you have a brother?" Niall raised one eyebrow,a small sigh escaped from my mouth and I sat,Niall came close and sat next to me,"my mother and Cory,my brother,died in an accident when I was fifteen,at first my father was broken,he sat in his room for days without moving,eating or showering. I tried to forget about it,I was wandering a lot around the town,but everything I saw reminded me of them. Two weeks before the accident I started dating with Zayn,I was happy..." I stopped,the tears flooded my eyes just from thinking about mum and Cory. "I..I'm sorry" Niall mumbled "you don't need to be sorry,it's not your fault."
