Chapter 8 - Dropping The Bombshell

" is that James and Amelia? What the fuck!!" Beau said angrily

He is leaning against the wall talking to her a smirk plastered on his face and she has her arms draped round his neck

"Beth are you okay?" Niamh rushed to my side

" you know what guys I'm fine lets go eat" they all looked at me confused

" seriously I'm okay I promise" I bare a smile

Just as we walk away James looks up from the girl and the colour drains from his face

But before he can say a word I link arms with Sasha and Niamh and walk away

James POV

Finally I had the balls to kiss her

I fucked up big time I know but finally things are working out and I know I like her a lot

After seeing the way the boys are with their girlfriends I know I want the same thing

I walk out the fair with the biggest smile on my face

" oi James were gonna get the car wait here"
Jai says leaving me at the doors

I wait impatiently, how long does it fucking take?

" hey James!" I spin round as a female voice speaks from behind me

Amelia stand there a grin plastered across her heavy made up face

Her bright pink lipstick agonising to look at and I wonder what it was I seen In her

" so there's a party tonight, how about you and the boys come over?" She steps closer to me and I move back.

" no thanks we have plans tonight" I say harshly and she frowns

" you weren't like this is while we were together when we were-" I stop her immediately

" stop, we aren't together anymore and we haven't been working for a while" I frown as her skinny arms wrap round my neck

I almost laugh. She is trying way to hard to get attention and I don't know why she doesn't just give up already

I glance up to see if the boys are there

FUCK

There she is, standing with Sasha her mouth open, when she sees me she collects herself and simply walks away

I earn a look from beau before he takes Anna's hand and walks away

What the fuck! Did it look like something was going on?

I needed to find her fast

Beth's POV

I laugh as beau and Luke start play fighting,

We decided after our food to go back to the boys place to watch movies

" I reckon we should order from that dessert place" keelie said looking up from her phone

" good idea I want waffles!" Sasha chimes in

While beau and Anna ordered our desserts over the phone we all decided go change into comfortable clothes ready for the movie

We all settled down watching she's the man and I sat myself in between Anna and Luke

"Are you sure your okay? What James did was pretty fucked " he whispered

" it's nothing icecream and a little shopping won't fix" I smile at him

He could see in my face I was heartbroken but I held it together. I'd known James a matter of weeks and he had already made me upset 3 times and we weren't in a relationship.

As Luke cuddled into Niamh I lay myself down and scroll through my phone while watching the movie when a new text popped up.

Ashton :
Hey I haven't seen you in a while, how are you doing? :)

I still feel so guilty about what James did to him

To : Ashton

Yeah I'm good I guess :) how are you after everything? I'm still so sorry about that by the way :( x

Almost instantly he replies

Ashton :
Don't worry about it it's only a little bruise :) I was wondering if you wanted to grab lunch tomorrow? X

To : Ashton

Yeah sure! Where shall I meet you?x

Ashton :
Meet me at the burger joint at say 1?x

To : Ashton
Sure il be there :) x

I locked my phone and threw it on the side table , in a way I was glad to be meeting up with ash.
It would take my mind off things for a while I suppose.

Everyone was basically falling asleep through this movie, beau and Anna had already left to go to bed, and I couldn't focus my attention on the movie so I decided to do the same

I jump onto my bed and start browsing through my laptop for places me and everyone else can go tomorrow, I felt like a day out somewhere I didn't wanna sit on the beach again cause it was asking for confrontation with James

Just as I was looking an ad popped up for mexifest an open festival where people from all around Mexico have an open mic

A list of other activities were there too and it actually sounded pretty fun

I decided I would text Ashton tomorrow and ask if he wanted to join

I jumped up from my bed and pattered downstairs to tell everyone my plans

Only Jai and James were downstairs, I could of slipped away quickly before they seen me but why should I hide?

" oi Jai!" Both of their heads turned round and James face softened when he seen me

" there's some festival on tomorrow I think would be cool for everyone to go to if your up for it?" I stood there playing with my thumbs

I had never felt so awkward in my life and his gaze was focused on me as I spoke to Jai
" yeah sure it sounds like fun! Are you coming too james?" Jai spoke

He looked up again at me before nodding

I left the room before he could say anymore " I don't mind him coming but I'm done"

As I lay in bed I could head Daniel Jai and James talking before hearing the front door open and close once again

They went back our. I sighed and turned on my side before falling asleep, James in my thoughts.

I was awoken to the sounds of Sasha and keelie shouting at eachother over who could have the last piece of toast.

I quickly hurried down the stairs " oi sluts that's mine" I grabbed it from the plate " you bitch" Sasha laughed

" by the way have any of you seen Jai? He didn't come to bed last night"Emily said confused

" neither did Daniel which is wierd" Sasha was digging her finger in a Nutella jar

" I heard them go back out last night" I replied eating my toast

They all look at me " well that's just wierd" keelie sighed

Sashas phone buzzed from the table and she grabbed it answering " hello?"

She nodded along to the voice the colour draining from her face " uh, yeah okay we will be right there"she stammered

She hung up the phone her hands shaking as we all waited for her to tell us what was wrong

She sat there in silence the tears springing to her eyes,

"Sasha what is it?" I stood by her side

" it- it's the boys, Jai Daniel and James" she looked at me sobbing

" they've been in an accident"
