Chapter 35 - what the fuck?

" you better get over there, he's done this too many times" Anna said behind me

" I'm already on it" and I marched over, he seen me walking after I got closer looking past the girls head smiling at me

" hello James" I said icily

He frowned at me " Beth there's someone I want you to meet" he said pulling me forward

Wait what?

" this is Amelia, she owns a massive DJ company and thinks she could get me a job there isn't that great!" He smiled at me

A wash of relieve went over my body

The girl turned round to get a drink and James spoke into my ear. " I know you thought someothing was going on" he frowned

" I'm sorry it's just because of last time" I looked up at him

" I know, that's not your fault" he said understandingly he pulled me closer and kissed me. " but why did you have your arm around her, that's what looked wierd and why I came over" I raised my eyebrow

" this guy was next to her and he spiller a drink and I was trying to pull her away to stop it going over her, when you looked round I thought shit that probably looked wierd" he said laughing

" it did a little but it's okay" I cuddled into his chest.

" wanna go see everyone else" and I nodded as he took my hand pulling me through the crowd.

We joined up with everyone sitting in a private booth, "we should move this to our house it's kinda shit" Jai said looking round

" I'm already inviting people" Luke replied on the phone

We made our way outside and waited for our taxi to arrive

The girls stood cuddled into their boyfriends as we all ether had dresses or skirts on

I looked round for James shivering
" you cold?" He said grabbing me from behind

" James! You gave me a shock!" I giggled turning round

He held my face kissing me and walking me backwards which made me laugh
" your so cute" I smiled

" Oi lovebirds! Taxis here!" Beau called and we turned round to see him cuddling Anna while they got into the taxi

We jumped in making our way back to the house, as soon as we got there we could see people already arriving waiting for us.

By the time we had been in an hour the place was pretty full, I did my best to stay close to my friends as being with people I didn't know freaked me out a little

Anna Niamh Keelie and I walked round to try and find Luke since he was the person who you went to if you wanted someone to make you a nice drink.

" where the fucks my boyfriend" Niamh laughed, Niamh was already pretty wasted and jumped on who she thought was Luke but was actually Jai " oops wrong twin" she giggled

" Niamh your fucking wasted" Jai laughed helping her down

" Niamh?" Luke appeared at the door

" hey! I was looking for you" she giggled walking over to him

This ended in a heavy kissing session

" fucking hell get a room" Keelie said and they burst out laughing
" I'm gonna find James" I told the girls and they nodded

" he's upstairs with beau" Anna said and I thanked her before going to find him.

I walked down the hallway to beaus room at the end of the corridoor, the door was slightly ajar, I peeked through to see James sitting with beau and they were talking quietly, I moved the door open slightly to listen.

" so what do you think?" James said looking up at him

" I dunno man, I mean do you think she would?" He said putting his phone on the table

" I really want to, but I feel like we just worked things out" James spoke

" just ask her bro, what's the worst that could happen? This could be a huge step for you guys"beau said smiling and James stood up

" yeah, fuck it, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna ask Beth to move to Australia with me"

My eyes went wide as he finished his sentence.
