Chapter 23 - problems

Beth's POV
"WHO GOT FUCKING PIZZA ON MY NEW TOP" Niamh shouted from upstairs. We all glanced round at eachother to find the culprit and the wide eyed very scared Luke seemed to be it.

" bro I told you she would find it" James smirked at him as Luke scowled.

" use some of the washing powder in the top cupboard Luke, it'll come straight out" I laughed and he nodded and went to find Niamh.

We were still waiting on Daniel and Sasha to get home so we all agreed nobody leaves the house til they get back and we find out some baby news.

" why don't we all go out for food when they come home?" Beau said and we all agreed

" I need to find something to wear" I said standing up leaving James grip

I still had his t shirt on that I wore for bed, fuck I need to pull myself together

" oi girls let's all get ready we look like fucking zombies" Anna laughed and we all left the boys watching football

" em do you still have that cute skirt I wanna borrow it!" I shouted from my room

" yeah it's in here!" She shouted back , we all had a habit of just shouting from room to room instead of just asking.

" it's a good thing we don't have neighbours!!" I heard Jai shout and we all burst out laughing.

" Beth I need your help" Niamh walked in
" what's up?" I walked over to her she was holding a white shirt with a large orange stain displayed over the front. " fucking hell Niamh I told him to wash it not eat off it" I took it out her hands holding it up

" well Luke Cant use a washing machine for shit, please help I was gonna wear it today " she said pulling a face

" leave it to me il fix it" I laugh and she gives me a hug

I run downstairs to our laundry room to try and fix the catastrophe that is Niamh's top to see beau already in there " what you doing shithead" and he spins round not realising I'm there.

" hey I was just sitting in here really" he shrugged

" what's up with you?" I raise my eyebrow he watches me fill the machine fixing Niamh's top
" I dunno I guess there's just a lot going on right now" he looks at me

" I know beau your right there is but were all together as a family, everything's fine don't worry okay?" I smile

" yeah,okay" he gives me a small smile

" hey beau?" I say and he looks up from his phone.

" you know if you need someone to talk to I'm here right?" And he smiles " I know, thanks Beth" he hugs me

" hey" I hear a voice say and James is leaning against the door his eyebrow raised

" hey what's up" beau and I look up at him
" nothin I was just looking for you that's all" he says blankly

" oh right, Niamh asked me to fix this and me and beau were talking and stuff" I say simply, no way was he gonna be pissy about me sitting with beau

" oh, okay then." He says and leaves
" what the fuck is up with him" I say turning my back to the door
" don't worry about It, he's just being a dick for no reason" beau laughed

" yeah your right" I laugh and we continue talking

James POV

" I'm gonna see if Beth is finished getting ready" I stand up leaving Jai and Luke in the room. And where the fuck did beau go?
I walk up the stairs to our room to find her not there. As I turn back I pass Niamh on the stairs
" have you seen Beth?" I ask her.
" yeah she went downstairs to wash something for Me"

I walked downstairs to find the laundry room but stopped at the door when I heard talking.

" you know if you need someone to talk to I'm here right?" I hear Beth say

" I know thanks Beth" beau?

I walk in to see Beth standing arms wrapped round beau and I get a pang of jealously

" hey" I say coldly and she spins round

" hey what's up" she smiles, clearly not seeing how pissed I was. " nothin I was looking for you that's all" I say teeth clenched.

"oh right, Niamh asked me to fix this and me and beau were talking and stuff" she says looking back at beau

"Oh, okay then" I say walking away catching the frown on her face

I know they're just friends but I hated seeing it

" don't worry he's just being a dick for no reason" I hear beau say.
