Chapter 9 - Crash And Burn

My heart was pounding in my chest as Sasha leaned against keelie sobbing, an accident! What kind of accident? Where they hurt?

"We need to get to the hospital right now!" Sasha jumped down

" okay okay let's calm down! Keelie you go tell beau and Anna what's happened and we can all leave together" Niamh says calmly

" Niamh go tell Luke" I said quietly

She ran upstairs after keelie

Sasha still sobbing " okay sash it's okay" I say hugging her.

I hear beau and Luke shouting as they run down the stairs

" everyone get into the cars quickly" beau shouted. You could see the panic in his face worrying about his friends and brother

Sasha beau Emily Anna and I all jumped into a car

While Luke Niamh Connor and Mollie jumped into the other

Brad Molly Michael and Lucy stayed at home incase of any phone calls on our way and to inform the boys families

Our car was silent beau kept nervously tapping his fingers on the steering wheel staring at the red traffic light Anna grabbed his hand " they're gonna be okay. I promise" he gave her a small smile holding her hand

Me Sasha and Emily sat in the back quietly and Sasha grabbed our hands giving it a comforting squeeze

" whatever the outcome when we walk through those doors, remember we're all in this together" I nodded and Emily agreed

She knew I cared about James and Emily and Jai were in a relationship as it is.

I couldn't help but think of how I had ignored him last night and the feeling of guilt hit me. We pulled up to the hospital and we all took a deep breath before getting out the car, I gave luke and Niamh a nod before we all burst through the doors

"We're all here for Jai brooks Daniel sayounie and james Yammouni. They were in an accident this morning" beau spoke to the receptionist " I'm sorry but it's family only" she spoke dryly luke and beau stepped forward before grabbing mine sashas and Emily's hands " these are their girlfriends" beau looked at me and mouthed 'just go with it' the receptionist gave us a nod of approval before allowing us through the door.

What we seen when we got to the other side is something I wish nobody to ever see their friends like

They all lay sleeping Daniel had bruises covering his chest and many cuts on his body, jai suffered two broken ribs and swelling on his face and then there was James

His poor face had cuts and bruises everywhere

A huge cut travelled down the side of his stomach and he had one broken rib

"What the fuck happened?" Luke asked the doctor

"They had a crash, we think They had been drinking but James was driving, they didn't crash into anyone luckily

"You call this fucking lucky" Luke stepped towards the man "Luke stop it he's trying to help" I say sharply

He looks at me before backing down defeated

Sasha immediately sits by Daniels side

As the boys and Emily sit with jai. I walk over to James sitting by his side, I grab his cold hands "why James" the tears roll down my cheeks. " hey don't cry" a voice whispers
