Chapter 32 - Night Changes

It had hit sunset in LA and it felt like the day had flown by even though it was only 7 pm, James and I were getting ready to go out and I threw on a pair of leggings one of James t shirts and his adidas jacket with my converse , we were only going for a walk after all, James changed into his joggers and a hoodie and we were good to go.

" hang on I need to go get my phone from the kitchen" I said leaving him by the front door

Kat and joe had been over the past few days visiting and we're currently eating each other's faces " fucking hell guys get a room" they turned round In shock not noticing my presence. I left them to it and joined back up with James

" we're going out be back later!" He yelled as the chorus of okaaaay!! Bye came from round the house.

We walked up the steep hill to the gate " fuck why did you all have to choose a house with a mini workout before you even leave" I panted.

He laughed shutting the gate " okay let's just walk and see where we end up" I nodded as we walked hand in hand

It felt nice to be able to walk round while it was quiet, it was a Monday night so there was barely any cars around.
" it's so peaceful" I smiled looking up at the sky

" I know I like to come out when it's really late sometimes to think and stuff" he replied

" think about what?" I couldn't help but ask

" it depends, sometimes just random shit on my mind or how I miss Australia and my family or us" he looked at me

" why don't you go visit them James, it's been a while" but he shook his head " all of the boys said we would love to go visit but we're all so busy now, and how could we just leave the house to go back home for a while"

" you should go, I know you miss your family" we turned a corner walking through a park.

" would you come with me?" His eyes lit up and suddenly faded as I shook my head

" oh, sorry" he looked away but I pulled him back

" it's not because of that, you should be spending quality time with your family James" I planted a kiss on his lips.

" what if I told you I was ready for you to meet them" and I stopped.

" wait what?" I looked back at him

" come with me, they'll love you" he smiled and I couldn't help but grin.

Daniels POV
Where the fuck were they? I text James over half an hour ago to hurry home, they knew the plan after all.

The door burst open and in walked the couple themselves.

" about fuckin time" I said crossing my arms and beth rolled her eyes.

" cmon lets head down to the beach now, I've text Sasha to meet us there in 20"

Fuck this was really happening.

We pulled up to the beach and I stood there ready, all of us were ready, the boys have me a thumbs up as we seen her small figure walking towards us in the distance.

She got closer and closer clearly she was confused by the look on her face.

" what's going on?" She asked standing in front of me

" why are you all dressed up"

Okay yeah I had dressed up but I had to make an effort.

The look of shock spread on her face as she watched me get down on one knee.

" Sasha Carter, will you marry me?"
