The black car moved steadily along the highway, the road stretching endlessly ahead.Their luggage was safely settled in the trunk.

For the first time after the wedding, Manik and Nandini were completely alone.

Nandini sat in the passenger seat, quietly looking at her husband.

A small smile played on her lips.

She still couldn't believe the huge scene he had created back at the marriage house just so the two of them could travel alone.

Manik noticed her looking at him.

"What?"

"Nothing, Mama."

"Then why are you smiling?"

"You."

"Me?"

"You created such a big scene just to travel with me."

Manik smiled.

"I wanted some time with my wife."

Nandini shook her head, still smiling.

"You're impossible."

"You're only realizing that now?"

She laughed softly.

And somewhere between those smiles, the journey truly began.

Two hours ago , At the Marriage House

The entire house was filled with movement.

Suitcases were being carried downstairs.

Men were bringing luggage out while some of the women were checking the rooms one final time to make sure nothing had been left behind.

Neonika, Raj, Divyanka and her husband, Shamishta, Kabir, Navya, Ali, Sanju, and almost everyone else were ready.Even Charms was prepared to leave.

One by one, everyone began bidding goodbye to Muthuswamy Murti, Surya, Jyothika, Adya, and Dev.

"It feels strange already," Jyothika said emotionally. "This house is going to feel so lonely after all of you leave."

She looked around the gathering. Then her eyes settled on Nandini.

"I wanted to ask you all something."

Everyone became quiet.

"Nandu used to spend an entire summer here every year, right from childhood."

Nandini smiled softly.Jyothika turned toward Manik.

"Please, Manik. Will you send her every summer even now after marriage?"

Manik smiled.

"And if she comes, make sure all of you come too. You people should spend a few days here with us."
