Spark POV
"We must rescue Sally!" Jack cried, rushing forward. "Wait, Jack!" Jane called after him. Jack stopped and turned around to face her.

"You don't know what lies ahead." Jane said, stepping in front of us and practically dragging Leo with her. We crept slowly into HalloweenTown, my hand not leaving my sword the whole time. We reached an old, creaky gate, and I knew that this was the entrance to Halloween Town. Jack stepped forward and pushed it open with an eerie creeeak and we walked inside.

I saw some tall creatures walk toward us. One was a gigantic furry monster with horns on his head and several eyes. He looked like he could swallow me in one bite! Another monster was with him, it looked like a little shadow creature!

They spotted us and ran over to us, a menacing look in their eyes. I held up my sword and they cowered away. "That's right, stand back." Leo laughed lightly. I rolled my eyes in response to him and raised my sword to strike.

They backed away slowly. "That's right. Get back or this goes in your head." I laughed. "Great. Someone's gone a little power hungry." Jane growled.

I rolled my eyes and we continued through to the fountain. I was about to walk around the fountain when I suddenly saw a black shape rise up from the fountain. It looked like a pile of gloop. I was about to raise my sword when it suddenly grabbed me! I was pulled into the fountain with a screech.

Before I could do anything, I looked down and was standing exactly where I had been standing before.  My father's mouth was open and I would've laughed if it were appropriate. "It's what's known as a copier. It brings out the worst in yourself, and all you can do to defeat it is to face your fears." Jack said quietly.

"Great. Everyone stand back!" I yelled. They all got back behind me as something rose up out of the fountain. It looked identical to me, but wore a blood-red cloak. We looked each other in the eyes and sized each other up. Her eyes were cold and dead, vacant of all emotion.

We seemed to stare at each other for an eternity. "No one will love you. Everyone thinks you're a freak." She taunted at me. I raised my sword.

"You could've saved your mother but went on a date instead. And look how he turned out." She laughed at me. I stopped, frozen, looking at the copy.

"She's dead because of you. You saw the vision." She laughed at me. "STOP!" I roared, swinging my sword at her. She easily stopped it between her hands.

"Spark...what vision?" Jack asked gently. I ignored him. "Yeah, what vision Spark?" She snarled at me. "I saw her being burned alive! Okay!?" I shrieked.

"I do not fear you!" I lunged forward, this time, no ounce of fear in my body. She looked me dead in the eyes and shattered into glass pieces, reflecting me.

I sunk to my knees, dropping my sword. I held my hands to my eyes and cried. I cried real tears. I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. "Spark."

I looked up, it was Jane. "You're okay. Come here." She said gently. I cried into her fur and she held me for a little while. I was surprised, for such a prickly personality she had a very soft spot.

"It's okay Spark. We'll find her. She's not dead. I can feel it." She whispered. I backed away, and she released me.

I said nothing as I picked up my sword. Leopold stood off to the side, his hands still in chains. He looked absolutely miserable.

"My father is planning something huge with Oogie Boogie. He's planning to take over Halloween Town and bring terrifying creatures into the real world. He has a plan on Halloween night, that's when the portals freely open. There's a rare time where a blood moon will rise in Halloween Town and open all the portals to the human realm. There. I wouldn't've told you that if I didn't love you." He said quietly.

I didn't say anything. "So, we know at least some of his plan." Jane said slowly. I didn't say anything but pick up my sword and sigh.

We headed away from the fountain and toward Jack's tower. "We need to see who else is under Oogie's command." Jane said. "But we need to put him somewhere first." Jack said, pointing to Leo.

"To the Hanging Tree!" Jack declared.
