I opened my eyes. I was laying on something hard. I tried to get up but was held down. "Not yet Spark." I heard Jack say.
"Oh I wish the doctor was here." The man with two faces said. "Where is Sally!?" I demanded. "She's in the other room. It's you we're worried about." Jack said with a sad smile.
"I'm fine. She was hurt. We have to help her!" I said, annoyed. "She's okay. We tried to patch her up the best we could." He said sadly.
"I'm fine. Honestly. Please let me help her!" I begged. "Fine." Jack sighed. "The witches are in there with her." He told me as I got up.
I rushed into the other room, Sally was laying on the bed, her black cloak in tatters. "Sally!" I said quickly. She opened her eyes and looked at me.
"Spark. You're okay!" She said with a smile. "How are you?" I asked her quickly. "In pain, Spark. The thread isn't doing any good, I shouldn't feel anything but I do." She said quietly.
"Wait. What thread did they use?" I asked her. "Some blue thread." "That's not going to help. Let me get the one Samantha uses on me. We have to try something!" I exclaimed.
I ran toward the wardrobe, Jack had ordered everyone out of the room, so I didn't have to dodge anyone at least.
I felt my neck and grabbed the key. I turned the lock and opened the wardrobe. I found the thread and walked back to Sally as the witches watched.
"Spark. You need to help me. I borrowed some of Samantha's clothes." She told me. I walked closer and she took off her cloak. She was wearing jeans and a shirt.
"I need you to restitch them." She told me. I carefully cut the other stitches and restitched the three gashes. "Okay. You should be good now." I said, putting the needle and thread back into the cabinet.
"Thank you, Spark." She said happily. I nodded and opened the door. The house was full of monsters, but they were changed a bit to fit more into the human world.
I saw a grey shape flying low over the house toward me. I jumped back, my back hitting the door. Alyson landed next to me. "Ready for school? They're missing us. The Halloween party has been moved to actual Halloween." She told me.
I narrowed my eyes. "Halloween! Wait!" I opened the bedroom door. "Sally! Did you say Halloween? Is that what you were trying to say?" I got no response!
"She's out cold!" One of the witches said. She had long, blonde hair and a blue dress. She looked human except for her witch's hat.
"It's okay. She'll be better in a bit." The other witch, she had black hair and a green tint to her skin, said, I realized she was Witch Hazel.
I closed the door and walked back out, Alyson on my heels. There were people everywhere! "What time is it?" I asked.
"7:45 on a Monday." I rushed and threw on my makeup, spilling some teenage monster's game of slimepong in the process. Gross!
I grabbed my backpack and Alyson grabbed her keys. She started the engine and we took off.
"Yuck! You smell like Slime." She laughed at me, rolling down the windows. "Is it really that bad?" I asked. Slime smelled like rotten eggs to humans, but to everyone from HalloweenTown, it was a great drink.
"Sorry!" I laughed. We reached school as I fixed my crazy red hair. "We have the same schedule, remember?" She asked me. "Yes, I remember silly!" I laughed.
We walked in the doors with confidence. I saw posters hanging up, saying the Halloween party had been moved to Halloween Night.
I froze. Halloween. Everyone in that gym will be a target for Oogie! "Hey! Cmon! Spark..?" I flashed back to the present. "What? Sorry." I said quickly. "We're going to be late." She said.
