LACEYS POV

My knee high white socks grasped onto my bare legs as I step out of my little red car. I make my way up the long pathway that leads up to the front doors of my new school, Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. I could feel all eyes on me as my new school shoes clicked onto the pavement. It was the first day of the school year so why was everyone so interested in me? I ignore it and pull off my white sunglasses and put them into bag. My hazel eyes then come into contact with everyone else's glares. I pull down my top to my uniform a little to even it out as I continue my strut. I enter the building to see tons of wild teenagers running around. I make my way to the office while observing the madness of high schoolers unsupervised.

"Hello how may I help you?" A nice looking lady asks me in the office.

"Uh, ya I'm Lacey Bennett and I'm supposed to be getting my schedule here." I say with a smile.

"Ah, yes here you go." She says as she hands me a schedule. I nod and exit the office. I scan the Schedule to see the room number of my home room, which was room 184. I quickly make my way there but clumsy me ends up knocking into someone. That definitely just ruined my cool girl persona.

"I'm so sorry." I say to the girl. She looked at me with beaming eyes as she kept her face in a angry grimace. She had red curly hair and was super slim. She also had 2 other girls who had a fake cheesy look plastered on there face.

"It's fine. I'm Rebecca by the way. You're Lacey right?" She asks with a fake smile and how did she know my name?

"Yeah that's me. I just moved here." I say.

"Oh you just moved into Mr. and Mrs. Bakers old house, right? I live down the road from there. You're going to love it in that house! If only they didn't murder their kids there at such a young age. " She says as she shakes her head , my face remains in shock as I try to process what I just heard.

"I'm just kidding. Oh my gosh she thought I was serious! Look, Lace, you should definitely hang out with us sometime." Rebecca laughs.

"Thanks. Well, I guess I better be going to class. Sorry, again." I say to the girl.

"Wait!" She calls after me.

"Ya?" I ask.

"I'm having a party this Friday to kick off the year, you should come.It will be the perfect way for us to continue bonding." She smiles.

"Sounds fun." I say as I try to hide my grimacing look. I mean a party on my first week of school? I really don't know if Rebecca is the type of quality friend I'm honestly looking for.

"Great see you then." She says as she turns around and walks away. I then continue making my way to homeroom. As soon as I walk in everyone's eyes turn to me. I silently make my to a corner seat next to a girl with brown hair.

"I'm Delilah." She says as she extends her hand.

"Lacey." I say as I shake her hand.

"Well what brings you to Holmes Chapel, Lacey?" She asks.

"My parents job moves often." I smile.

"Oh. you'll like it here." She tells me.

"That's good." I say and as soon as I do a mop of chocolate brown hair sits infront of me. I automatically know that thoose are the curls from my neighbor who chuckled at me yesterday. I continue my glare on him.

"You like the player?" Delilah whispers to me.

"The 'player'?'" I ask her.

"Ya that's Harry Styles. The Player." She says back to me.
