LACEYS POV
Tuesday went by quite fast. I could hardly look at Stasi because of what I found out about her task. But now, school was over and Delilah and I were going shopping for a prom dress at a little dress shop downtown.
"So who are you going with?" I ask Delilah. I already told her about Harry and I.
"Um uh." She stuttered.
"Oh come on just tell me." I laugh.
"Will." She says with a smile.
"I knew it!" I cheer. We both laugh as we pull up to the dress shop. We hop out of the car and walk in to see Rebecca, Stasi and Katie.
"Oh what are you two losers doing here." Rebecca asked us. We both groan as they all snickered. Today at lunch Rebecca told Delilah she had to pick between me or her and Delilah choose me. So now her and Rebecca were kinda in a fight too.
"Whatever.Come on Lacey lets go shop where you can't smell the skanks." Delilah says.
"I wouldn't be the one to talk about being a 'skank' Delilah. I'm sure you know all about that." Rebecca threatened. What was she talking about. All I could see was Delilah getting a worried look on her face.
"Come on Lacey let's go over there." Delilah says as we walk over to the other side of the store. After a while of looking at dresses, I finally got the chance to ask Delilah what that whole Rebecca thing was about.
"Delilah?" I ask.
"Yes?" She says.
"What was that whole Rebecca thing about and how you should know?" I ask.
"Lacey its a really long story." She says.
"It's ok you don't have to tell me. but I'm always here if you want to talk." I promise her.
"Lacey I trust you enough to talk about it. I'll start off freshman year I guess. When I came to high school I met the wrong people. I became a girl I never was. I drank alot and had alot of boyfriends. Same thing happened in grade 10. In grade 11 I met Rebecca and everybody. We all became friends and I finally left my past in the past. Then I met Bryan. Bryan was the best boyfriend I ever had. He truly loved me. Until one night we went to a party and Bryan got drunk. He abused me outside the party by punching me and kicking me. Nobody saw. Little did he know I was pregnant with his baby. Later that night he was leaving the party trashed and I begged him to take a cab but he didn't. He ended up getting in a car crash. Later that year I had a miscarriage. The only people who know about the baby was Rebecca and my parents." She says as she began to cry. I go over and rap her in my arms.
"Its ok don't cry." I beg.
"Your right I shouldn't be crying." She says as she whips away the tears.
"I'm sorry that happened to you." I tell her.
"Its ok I'm over it." She says. We continue to shop until we both have found the perfect dress. We were now walking down the side walk until we came across Harry.
"I swear your following me." I laugh at harry.
"Hey it's a small town." He says. we all laugh.
"So what are you doing?" I ask Harry.
"Going to get some coffee. You girls can come too." Harry invites.
"I actually have to go but Lacey can go." Rebecca says.
"Are you sure Delilah. Your welcome to join us." I tell her.
"Ya I'm sure. Have fun." She says.
"Ok thanks. See ya tommorow." I say as Harry and I begin walking to the coffee shop.
"I feel like I barely know you." Harry says as we sit down with our coffee.
"Well what do you want to know?" I ask him.
"Well just let me ask you questions." Harry says.
"Ok shoot." I say.
"Favorite animal?" He asks.
"Shark." I reply with.
"Really?" He asks.
"Ya it's on my bucket list to swim with them one day." I say.
"Bucket list?" He asked me.
"Yes. 100 things I want to do before I die." I respond with.
"What's the first thing on your bucket list?" He asks.
"For the one I love to rent a chevy truck and go through the largest tunnel of London blasting heros by David Bowie and I stand in the back of the truck chanting we are infinite." I finish. Harry looks at me in awe.
"Perks of being a wallflower." He says.
"Exactly." I say with a smile.
"We will have to do that one day." He says.
"You would do that?" I ask.
"Ofcourse." He says.
"I'll be your Sam." I promise.
"And i'll be Your Charlie." He smiles as he presses his lips onto mine. This was perfect.
