LACEYS POV

I slip into my new cheer uniform as I pin my pony tail back. My mind had been swirling ever sense Monday. Somebody knows my task. Somebody knows what I'm doing to Harry. I really haven't tried to find out who, I just sort of ignored it. In other news Harry is my boyfriend and well he is actually nice and a gentleman to me. He hasn't even looked or talked about another girl sense we have been together. Rebecca still will not talk to me but its ok. We have had no play practices yet and they should start next week. I have met up with Jasper from the prom committee. He said I was doing good with Harry but he needed to say he loved me for the task to be complete. Prom was in about two weeks so I had no clue how I was going to do this. I just had to go along with it and maybe he would take me out.

Well right now its Friday night and I am getting ready to go to our first rugby game of the season! We had cheerleding practice earlier this week so I was ready but Rebecca still wont talk to me.Oh well I think as I climb into my car as I drive off the game. I soon arrive to our packed school and make my way inside to the place the game will be. As I walk in it seams our whole town has gathered for this one game. I start getting nervous as I make my way over to the other cheerleaders.

"Well so nice of you to join us miss Bennett." Rebecca says in a snotty tone.

"Rebecca you said to be here at 6:30. Its 6:31 right now." I snap back.

"Time is very important." She says.

"Sorry I'm late Rebecca." Stasi says as she comes up to Rebecca.

"No problem Stasi but for you miss Bennett I want you to run two laps around the field." She says to me.

"How come Stasi doesn't have to do it?" I ask.

"Because she didn't take my role in the school musical now run!" She says. I sigh as I begin to run around the field. I hate running. That's why I'm a cheerleader. I was soon stopped on the side lines of the field by Harry.

"Hey babe!" He says.

"Hey." I say back as I look to see Rebecca wasn't watching so I could talk to Harry. He leans in and presses his warm lips agianst mine for just a Peck... but when he pulls away there was something there. Something I couldn't describe. It made me want to grab his rugby Jersey and pull him in for another kiss. It was a weird feeling that left my mind bewildered and my stomach confused.

"So why are you running?" He asks.

"Rebecca is mad I took her spot in the musical and I was one minute late." I say. He nods as he chuckles. I slap his shoulder as he laughs.

"Its not funny." I laugh.

"Just a little." He says.

"Bennett!" A shrieking voice calls. I look over to see Rebecca calling my name and the whole team staring at Harry and I.

"Come here!!" She snaps. I send a apologetic look to harry as I run over to Rebecca and the team.

"What?" I ask.

"It's time to practice and I don't appreciate you talking to Harry." She says.

"Well he is MY boyfriend." I say back. She looks shocked that I would even bring that up. I smiled at myself as Rebecca stood lost for words. I know she is Harrys ex and I know she still likes him but Delilah told me he broke up with her for somebody else. She said they still remained friends but a little more than friends if you know what I mean. Rebecca still stood shocked as I realized she looked as if she was about to cry. I soon regret my words as I see her eyes shine with a fresh tear she does not let drop.

"Lets move onto the cheer." She says loud enough for everyone to hear. All the cheerleaders nod and follow her. I wanted to grab Rebecca and apologize but it was too late I feared. I just shaked it off as I continued walking.

"A little too far Lacey." Delilah says to me as she comes next to me.

"I know. Should I apologize?" I ask her.

"No. There is just alot you don't know Lacey." She whispered back.

"Ok." I say as I continue walking.

"Ok we are doing a stunt..." Rebecca says. I get a little nervous because we have only practiced this once and I was a base.

"Lacey... you'll be the flyer." She says. My eyes grow wide.

"Um Rebecca I've never done that before." I say.

"It will be fine I'm a amazing base and Katie will be spotting you and she is amazing. Trust us." She says. I wanted to say no, but some part of me found myself balanced in Rebeccas arms up in the air. The whole team was gathered around and it looked like our whole town was watching us. I was about to fly in the air when I felt my foot slip as I come tumbling to the ground.My head slams towards the ground and my foot lands the wrong way. Pain shoots through my whole body as I hear many gasps.

"Oh my gosh Lacey are you alright?!" People yell.

"Ya, ya I'm fine." I say but pain was still in my foot and head. I try to stand up to show everyone I was fine, but soon fall down as I gasp in pain.

"No I'm not ok." I say as I lay back.

"Call 911!" Somebody yells which I think was Delilah. Soon I could see all the rugby players gathered around me and could hear sirens going off in the distance. I remember being picked up and carried away but the whole time I remember somebody holding my hand wherever I went. My eyes were shut and before I knew it I was passed out as I grasped onto somebodys hand.
