The darkness claims
my soul today
It will not loosen
All these chains
The light
The day
Has wrapped around
A tender mind
A cooing sound
From the tied
And knotted throat
Of the infant
In the boat
The flows to death
Down Styx's stream
And flushes to
An empty dream.
