A room
A raccoon
A pirate
To slight it
Arguments
Laughing fits
Odd nicknames
Teasing claims
Awkward conversations
Low expectations
Calm, comfortable days
Both annoying in ways
But both loved each other
Like sister and brother
But the last time they spoke
Both of their hearts broke
Because the Raccoon knew
What the pirate had to do
But he also knew this was the end
Of his best friend
So he let her go
And to avenge, killed her foes
But lost in the shuffle
To add to his sorrow
Was the girl that he loved
She was sent above
And he was alone
To go on missing both
But he couldn't rise
Above the great tide
Of darkness he felt
His heart just a veldt
Of dry shriveled grass
From the pain of the past
So what could he do
He went to join them too.
