I stare into your vacant eyes
And now I wonder if the lies
We'd told each other took their toll
On each of out dark and faded souls
I hope that you will find your peace
In the world of endless sleep
I love you still though death prevails
But one day soon you'll lift the veil
And I will join you in the rest
Of eternity in loving death
