Kat's POV
I stayed in Niall's arms every waking second for weeks. I never wanted him to leave again. We were finally together and finally happy. His family visited frequently in the months following the tour. Since Maura had been unable to come out for the birth as planned, she gave Niall and I a weekend to ourselves. We are forever grateful for it.
A few months later, the band announced the end of their time together in an interview with Good Morning London, a new morning show. We were all there. And it was there that Niall made it public that we were in fact married and are set to have a wedding later next year.
Sydney and Liam's girlfriend Sophia got right to work on planning it. However, I was preoccupied with other things, or people. That is what I should say.
"Mummy!"
Belle, who is two now, runs around all day, everyday and never stops. She's a mini version of Niall. Her once blonde hair is now turning a dark brown. Her legs are skinny and her eyes, I swear, get bluer everyday. But her accent surprises me, a straight Wolverhampton accent, similar to Liam's.
"Yes, princess?"
"Where are Daddy an Beebee?"
"Honey, we talked about this. Beebee has a name. It's Parker. Can you say Parker?"
"Peker."
"That's a start. And they should be back soon."
"I hungry."
"It's 'I'm hungry'."
"Em hungry."
I nodded. "Yeah. There you go, but we have to wait for Daddy."
Belle huffed and scowled.
As cute as the baby talk is, I'm stopping it. Niall should too but he probably won't.
She ran off back to her room and I heard the TV switch on. I rolled my eyes. Niall insisted that 'every child should have a telly in their room'. His words, not mine. I wasn't going to argue with him. Sure, I take the role as her mother, but he's got all legal custody of her.
The door opened and I jumped a bit.
Niall chuckled, "You alright, Kat?"
I nodded. "Yes. You just scared me."
He walked over, still laughing, and kissed me on the cheek. I'm sorry, love."
"It's okay." I took Parker from his arms. Parker was an overall good baby. He didn't cry much, but he laughed, just like Belle did.
He's small though. So small that we don't leave him unattended for long. And we especially don't let Belle hold him without at least one of us supervising. She of course hates it, and says that we should let her be a grown-up.
"So?" Niall began talking as he put the groceries away. "I've been thinking, and if you want to move, I'm totally for it."
That stopped me in my tracks. Niall had never talked about moving before.
"Kat?"
"M-move?"
He nodded, "What do you think?"
"Why?"
He stopped his chore and padded across the living room. We sat down on the couch.
"Well, I just sense that you're not comfortable here; not like I am. I've been here for a lot of years and it was just me. And then I had Belle, and then you moved in. You're still tense and I don't want that. So if moving releases some of that stress then I'll do it."
