Clary's POV

I snuggled up on Clar,y's couch, not having enough energy to move anywhere else.

I was jolted awake by an idea forming in my head. What if... What if Sebastian could help me leave here? He is a ghost, after all...
I decide to contact Izzy.

Isabelle! I say through the link.

Yes, Clary? What is it? She sounded tired.

I kinda need to speak to Sebastian...

Okay....

Isabelle's POV

I let Clary take over my body, watching what she did from my own eyes, kind of like an out-of-body experience. A third-person perspective.
She quickly ran to Sebastian's room, knocking on his door.

"Sebastian, it's Clary! I need to speak with you." Her voice sounded like a mix of hers and my own.

"What is it, Clarissa?" He opened the door soundlessly, allowing Clary in to his room.
It was surprisingly similar to Jace's, an immaculate room with everything where it should be. Unlike mine.

"I need your help. Since you are a ghost, essentially, you should be able to cross between dimensions much easier than I. I know the runes. You just need to, well, draw them." I can hear echos of her thoughts, but nothing that can tell me what's going on.

"Okay. Tell me what to do."
The rest is a blur of runes and steles. A portal was opened, and I was released from Clary's control.

Clary's POV

I let Isabelle go to see a portal in front of me.
"Goodbye!" I yelled, and jumped through.
The last thing I saw of the other world was Clar,y waving goodbye.

I landed with a thump in Sebastian's room. Isabelle was shocked.
"Thank the Angel! You're back!" She yelled, and enveloped me in a crushing hug.

"Love you too, Iz. Now, where is everyone else?"

"Uhm, I dunno..."

Fifteen minutes later, I was spying on the group from my hiding spot in the library.

"Why did you bring us here, Iz?" Asked Jace. His voice brought tears to my eyes.

"See for youself."

I jumped out of my hiding place, yelling, "Surprise!"
Everyone jumped, and it was a blur of hugs.
