"To save his men," Russell said to Flippy. "Sir Ironbeard was willing to give up the secret cargo."

"What was it?" Flippy asked.

"Jewelry and gold," Russell replied. "But his men were thrown into the sea, anyway."

He drank from the bottle, again. "But a Pirate Saint ALWAYS has a trick up his sleeve," he continued.

Sir Ironbeard waited until BlackHeart's crew went to sleep.

Then he made his move. He let his backup knife fall out of his sleeve far enough to grab it.

After he cut himself loose, Ironbeard started pouring gunpowder towards the explosives.

Just as he was about to drop the match, BlackHeart was right in the way of his escape route.

"Trying to blow us into smithereens, eh?" He said, pulling his obsidian-colored sword.

Ironbeard threw a handful of gunpowder at BlackHeart's face, making him drop the sword.

Then Ironbeard threw his knife at him. It struck BlackHeart in his chest, making him fall to the floor.

As Ironbeard dropped the match, dashed to the top deck, and jumped off the ship; he heard BlackHeart laugh his evil laughter.

"WE WILL MEET AGAIN, IRONBEARD!" He yelled. "IN ANOTHER TIME! IN ANOTHER LIFE!" The ship exploded.

The treasure flew high in the air. The last Pirate Saint caught as much gold coins and valuable jewelry in his feathered hat.

"Sir Ironbeard spent the rest of his life talking about what happened that night," Russell began to finish. "He fell in love, had children, grew old, and he let his legacy carry on."

He walked up to Flippy. "Will you help out a Pirate Saint to find the treasure and lift the curse that lies within my bloodline?"

Flippy shook his hand. "Yes," he replied.

Then, all of a sudden, gunfire and explosion were heard.
