I was awoken by the lights being turned on. My eyes shot open.
"Good, you're up." Eli said by the light switch.
I rubbed my eyes tiredly, and looked at the clock on the wall, "Seriously? It's 5:33am..." I moaned.
He rolled his eyes, "Just get shoes on and let's go to your house so I can have my clothes back." Eli said.
I got up and put my shoes on and we walked towards the door, where Anthony was. He was in the kitchen sitting down.
"Anthony!" I said, excited to see him, even though he was apart of the group that kidnapped me.
He was the nicest one. Justin seems so strict and cold at times, and Eli, well he's a complete ass.
Anthony looked at me, his face looked relieved and he broke out into a smile, "Hey."
I was going to speak, but before I could Eli was pulling me out the door, and pushing me into the passenger seat of his black Lamborghini.
"Rude much?" I said as he closed his door.
"Just cause you think you're all buddy buddies with Ant, doesn't mean he'll break the rule and let you go." Eli said speeding off to my house.
"I never said he would. Sorry I like him better then you." I said.
"You just think you like him, cause he was all sweet to you. When in reality, you like me more then him." Eli said taking one hand off the steering wheel.
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah... Sure... Keep living in your little daydream." I said sarcastically.
Eli looked over at me as he pulled up to my house, "You can't tell me that you don't like me even a little bit, I know you do, deep deep inside." He said with a jokingly, but with a serious face.
"Keep dreaming." I said getting out of his car and going into my house.
He turned off his car, and followed me in.
"Your parents aren't home?" Eli asked as we stepped into the house.
I turned on a light going upstairs heading to my room.
"No. They are both ER doctors, so they aren't around much. If they aren't working then they're sleeping, and waiting for their beeper to go off. My older brother took care of me, and by that I mean he just made sure I had food, a ride to and from school and that I woke up and went to bed. No one in my family was ever really around much as a child, so I was alone most of the time." I said opening my bedroom door.
"That sounds like a dream come true to me." Eli said flopping down on my bed.
"Not really." I said as I opened my bathroom door, letting Bubbles out.
I sat on the floor as she ran over to me, kissing my face and going crazy. "It always got pretty lonely. It got better once I could drive, but that was only because I was able to go hang out with my friends, the few I have."
"It couldn't have been that lonely, you had your brother. Stop complaining." Eli said, his eyes closed.
I didn't say anything. Everything came flooding back to me.
"I didn't see anything about you having a brother in the report of you." Eli said.
Report? What the fuck is he talking about?
"We get reports on who we are getting and we learn about them. It makes it easier to bond with them. I hardly ever read them, they are just a waste of time time for me, but still. Why wasn't your brother mentioned in it?" Eli clarified.
I sighed, "He, uh... He's not around anymore... My family and I, we don't talk about him anymore..." I said slowly, sorrow filled my voice as I fought back the tears.
Eli took a while to respond, "Sorry."
I shook my head, "It's whatever."
I fed and gave water to Bubbles and the getting ready for school and getting my class ring, heart shaped necklace that Colby gave me for our 1 year anniversary, and my backpack.
"I'm ready." I said.
"About damn time!" Eli said getting up.
"Excuse me for trying to get ready and take care of a puppy. You know Eli, you could've helped out with Bubbles while I was getting ready instead of sleeping. That would've made it be a lot more faster." I said aggravated.
"Why should I? It's your mutt, and plus I'm having to babysit you and drive you around." Eli said walking back to his car.
I followed him, "So you take me anywhere I wanna go?" I asked as we got into his car.
He laughed, "You wish. The only time you're allowed to leave our place is for school. No dates, no shopping, no nothing." Eli said as he started driving to school.
"What?! That's so unfair!" I groaned.
"Shut up, you're lucky for getting to leave that place for school." He looked at me intensely, "Don't forget you still are kidnapped."
I sighed and didn't say anything. He was right. I'm still kidnapped by them and I'm lucky to to even have time away from that prison they call a house. Even though the only place I can go to is basically another prison.
He pulled up into the school parking lot on the East side.
"Is this where our first class is?" I asked.
"All our classes are on the East side." Eli said.
Great, Colby has no classes on the East side. Looks like I won't be able to see him. I wonder when I will. I'm just glad this is the last week left of school. I'm so ready for summer. Then I can focus on my baking career. I just hope that once summer starts, I'll be done with Eli and his friends. Well maybe not with Anthony, he's the one person I can actually stand.
We started walking to first period.
"How'd you manage to get my schedule switched on the last week of school?" I asked. That's been bugging me since yesterday.
"Let's just say... It wasn't approved. We got them to let you leave your classes and go to mine." Eli said with a smirk.
"Did anyone get hurt?" I asked cautiously.
"You don't need to worry about that babe." Eli said.
"Don't call me that. I'm still in a relationship with my boyfriend." I said.
He rolled his eyes and we walked to our classes. Before I knew it school was over. Only 4 more days left of school, and hopefully I'll be done with Eli, and go back to normal.
On the way home Eli stopped at my house so I could get some clothes, makeup, hair supplies, toothbrush and toothpaste, and shoes.
I put them in his trunk. "Ok, I have everything." I said.
He was leaning against his car, "No you don't."
I looked at him confused. What was I missing? I double checked everything I needed.
"Get your mutt." Eli said crossing his arms.
"I thought you said you had to ask your-"
Eli cut me off, "I did. This morning, now get your mutt and let's go."
I ran in and got Bubbles, her food, her toys, her food and water bowl, and her leash. I ran back down with her stuff in a bag, and Bubbles in my arms and got into his car.
We got in and drive to the house. He, of course didn't help me unload. It was Anthony who was the one to help me.
The rest of the week went the same. Eli was as rude and crude as ever, Justin kept his distance from me, and Anthony being his usually friendly self. I wonder why he's doing this job he's so nice and friendly. How'd he start doing a job like this?
Friday soon came and I was still kidnapped, and now that school ended I couldn't leave the house, but it didn't seem as much as being kidnapped, it was more like a temporary living house. I wonder when I'll be able to leave.
