Eli's Surprise

I woke up in Anthony's arms. I'm not sure why, but I didn't pull away. I'm not sure how, but his arms being wrapped around me, was really relaxing and comforting. I laid my head back down and closed my eyes.
I didn't wake back up until Bubbles started barking. That woke Anthony up as well.
"I'm sorry she woke you." I said.
Anthony smiled tiredly, running his hand through his hair, making it even more messier then it was, "Nah, it's fine. I needed to wake up anyways."
I smiled back. Man, his tired smile was so hot. I guess I was staring, cause the next think I knew he spoke up.
"Uh? Everything okay?" He asked.
I quickly snapped out of my thoughts, "What? Yeah! Sorry, I guess I'm more tired then I thought I was. I blanked out."
He nodded, "Ah okay. Hey, you want me to take Bubbles outside? She'll be able to get some of her energy out."
"If you're fine with doing it, then yeah go ahead." I said back.
"Well we'll be back then." Anthony said getting up, picking up Bubbles and heading outside.
I was sitting on Anthony's bed when the door opened. I looked and it was Eli.
"Great. Just the person I wanted to see." I mumbled under my breath sarcastically.
"Look, I'm not too happy to be here either." Eli snapped back.
"Then why are you here?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"I'm here to apologize." Eli said.
"Go ahead."
"I'm sorry." Eli said in somewhat of a sympathetic tone.
"Say it like you mean it, use my name, and why you're sorry." I said.
He rolled his eyes, and crossed his arms, "Stop acting like a mom, geez."
I just looked at him.
He sighed heavily, "Okay, fine." Eli said looking me in the eyes and unfolding his arms, "Brooklyn, I'm sorry I slapped you yesterday. I didn't mean to... I don't..." Eli sighed and continued, "I just don't know what came over me... I really am sorry for hurting you Brooklyn. It was never my intention."
I looked deep into his eyes, and saw that he meant it.
"It's okay, I forgive you. I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have tempted you." I said.
"It's cool." Eli said walking out of the room.
"Eli."
He stopped but didn't turn around, "What?"
"What made you decide to apologize?" I asked, my voice full of curiosity.
"Justin told me I had to." Eli said walking out.
I got a little upset by the fact that Eli was forced to apologize to me for what he did. I guess it shouldn't get me down as much, since he did apologize to me.
Anthony soon returned. "Did Eli just leave?"
"Uh yeah. He came to apologize to me for yesterday." I said.
Anthony looked taken back by it, "Really?"
I laughed, "Yes really, but that's only cause Justin told him too."
He nodded, "That makes sense." Anthony said.
For the rest of the day it bothered me deep inside that he only apologized because he was forced too.
