The next day I woke up with Bubbles next to me, curled up in a ball next to my stomach. The smell of bacon filled the room. Almost drawn to it, I got out of bed, and with heavy feet I inched closer and closer to the smell. I found myself in the kitchen where Anthony was making breakfast.
"Well now I know what wakes you up." Anthony said looking at me chuckling.
"What do you mean?" I asked, sitting down at the table with a yawn.
"I tried to wake you to see what you wanted for breakfast, but you never woke up so I just made pancakes and bacon." He said walking over with a plate in his hand, and one balancing on his arm, while his other hand was holding two cups of orange juice. I grabbed a plate and a glass.
"Were you a waiter or something?" I asked as I bit into a piece of bacon.
"Yeah, I was a waiter for about year, before working at Starbucks."
I guess I showed a bit of excitement about that, cause Anthony laughed, "Guessing you like Starbucks? You perked up when I said that." He said smiling before taking a bite into his pancake.
I just laughed it off. I didn't know what else to do. I shoved a piece of bacon in my mouth.
"I'll make you something, just ask. I don't mind at all." Anthony said.
Before I could say anything the door opened, "Yo! We're here." Justin called out.
"Kitchen." Antony said with a mouthful of pancake in his mouth.
They walked in and Justin helped himself to breakfast as Eli stood watching us, his arms crossed.
"I see you made yourself at home." Eli said glaring at me.
"Yeah, I told her to." Antony said glaring back at him.
"Whatever." Eli said leaving the room.
"What's his deal?" Anthony asked after taking a drink of orange juice.
Justin shrugged, "Who knows with him. Eli was fine before coming in here." Justin said, barley glancing at me.
"I'm going outside with Bubbles." I said getting up, getting Bubbles and going outside.
I saw Eli sitting on the porch. He looked over at me as Bubbles ran past him.
"You are absolutely stupid. You know that right?" Eli said, looking off into the distance.
"What? That's rude!" I snapped back.
"You already knew that. You're a stupid idiot now." He scoffed back at me, barely turning his head towards my direction.
"How? What did I do?"
"You are getting to damn close to Anthony. Angel wants to fucking kill you and all you're doing is getting all lovey-dovey with Anthony when you have a boyfriend."
"I do not have a-" I started to say to defend myself, but quickly shut my mouth when I realized what was about to come out of my mouth.
"You don't have a what?" Eli said standing up, "Say it, go ahead and say what was about to come out of your pretty little cheating mouth of yours."
I didn't say anything.
"You were about to say that you didn't have a fucking boyfriend!" Eli raised his voice.
I continued to stay silent, I knew that what he just said was true.
"Weren't you!?" Eli yelled at me.
"Well maybe if you didn't fucking kidnap me for weeks or months or for however long it was without any contact with family or friends or even my boyfriend then maybe I wouldn't have!!" I screamed at him furious.
Eli scoffed, "Don't try to turn this around on me." He got closer to me, and I as always was backed up to the house. "You had the choice to go back, but you chose to stay. You could've gotten reunited with that dumbass boyfriend of yours, but you chose to stay. So don't you fucking turn this around on me!" Eli screamed looking into my eyes.
I didn't know what to say, I did have the choice to go back.
Eli looked at me as if he had something to say, but then he just went inside.
"Damn, you get on Eli's nerves. All you two ever do is clash together and it's the start of World War 3." Justin said stepping outside.
"Yeah well he gets on my nerves too."
"Why didn't you leave?" Justin asked looking at me.
"I... I don't know..." I replied, but I was lying. I knew the truth. I knew why I chose to stay, I just didn't want accept the truth.
