It's been a few minutes since Eli left, I was still right where he left me. I was about to leave when I heard Anthony and Justin talking.
"Remember don't get too close, it won't be so good in the end." I heard Justin say.
What were they talking about I wonder. Don't get too close to what?
"I know. I just can't help it though." Anthony paused. "Hey is it just me or is Eli different?"
There was silence.
"I'm not sure. I feel like Eli is still the way he was he was after Natalie left and Danny died..." Justin finally said.
"Then I must be going crazy or something." Anthony said.
"Why do you think he's changed?" Justin asked curiously.
I heard Anthony sigh, "I dunno, it's just he opened to her. I just feel like that's strange of him to do."
Justin laughed, I honestly think this is the first time I heard him laugh.
"Are you jealous or something?" Justin said, still laughing
"What? No, of course not!" Anthony protested.
"Then why were you the one who suggested that she goes to your house to hide out and be there alone for a day before Eli and I go?" Justin said suspiciously, but in a teasing way.
"I uh... She's more comfortable with me and uh... Uh... It's not like that." Anthony said slowly
"Why is it not like that?" Justin asked.
"She has a... Uh... Boyfriend." Anthony said.

"I know that. Are you ok with the fact that she's with someone else?" Justin asked in a serious tone.
"Yeah... Of course. Well... Maybe... I'm not sure." Anthony said sighing.
"Just know, that she's with someone." Justin said.
"I know, it's just, I wanna protect her. That's all I know as of right now." Anthony said.
I heard footsteps and in the distant I heard them talking.
They were talking about me weren't they? They had to be. Obviously they were. Does Anthony like me?
I decided to try and let it go, at least for now. Right now, I have bigger things to worry about, like trying to be away and safe from Angel. I left the room to go find Anthony, since it was getting late.
I found him in a room looking out the window watching the sun go down, deep in thought. I decided to leave, I was about to leave when I heard him say something.
"You don't have to leave." Anthony said, still gazing out the window.
"Are you sure? I can let-" I started. I trailed off when he slowly turned around and looked at me. I didn't say another word, I just nodded and went to him.
We stood watching the sun go down, I could tell something was up.
"Hey Bug boy?" I said, slightly turning my head to look at his profile.
He smiled, "Hey you called me Bug boy again! It's been a while since you called me that. I missed that y'know."
I just laughed.
"Anyways, yeah? You need something?" Anthony said, looking at me.
"Is everything ok? I feel like something's up." I said, meeting his gaze.
He sighed sitting down, patting next to him indicating for me to sit. I sat down next to him. "You already know about what happened to my sister, Natalie. Today is the day that she left... It's been 2 years today..."
"Anthony... I'm so sorry..." I responded slowly, what else could I say?
He shook his hair, which made some of his hair to go in his face, "Don't be, she's still out there, and I will find her." Anthony said, his voice full of confidence and hope, but his eyes, oh his eyes, they were a different story. His eyes looked like a sad puppy who was lost. No matter how hard I looked I couldn't find the hope or confidence his voice was so full of just moments ago.
I didn't say anything, all I could do was stare at him.
"Anyways, let's head to bed, we should get a head start in the morning." Anthony said getting up and leading me to his room.
We shared the bed and in the morning we left. It was about 4:47am when he drove away. He didn't want to waste time to get there. He said it was a few hours away. While he was driving, I was well sleeping with Bubbles on my lap.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, gently shaking me. I slowly opened my eyes, squinting at the light coming through the windows. I looked over and looked at Anthony.

He smiled, "Nice bed hair."
I shot up trying to fix my hair, as Anthony laughed at me.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" He laughed. "We're here. Welcome to my house!"
I got out of the car holding Bubbles, as Anthony turned off the car. We went in his house. I went to the backdoor and let Bubbles out. When I turned around Anthony was right behind me. I'm not going to lie, that scared me.
"Antho-" I started, but got cut off by Anthony pushing me into the wall, his arms blocking my path.
He leaned over to me and whispered, "Don't speak."
I opened my mouth to say something, when I felt his warm, soft lips on mine. We kissed and kissed, getting hotter and more intense with each time our lips meet.
"Brooklyn, I..." Anthony whispered between kisses.
I opened my eyes and looked around. I was still in the car. I looked at Anthony, and just stared at his profile.
"Hey are you ok?" Anthony said, his voice full of concern, taking his eyes off the road.
"Uh, yeah, I just had a weird dream..." I said.
"What about?" He said looking back at the road.
"Nothing really..." I said
"Alrighty then..." Anthony replied, voice full of questionably.

We didn't talk the rest of the way to his house, lucky it wasn't too far away. It was about another 30 minutes.
He soon pulled up to a house on the hills. It was a big beautiful white house, covered with tress, and plants all around. We got out of the car and we walked in. Inside was a beautifully decorated house. The color scheme was brown.
"Welcome to my house Bridge girl." Anthony said smiling.
I couldn't help but smile back at him.
"I wonder how long I'll be here." I thought to myself as I pet Bubbles
