I smiled seeing Mr. Cooper’s message, standing up from my seat, I replied: “Coming. J”
“Where are you going?” Raf asked in a confused voice. He was busy reading his book but I let it go since he has exams tomorrow.
Oh crap! I forgot to tell him!
I gazed back at his bed where he was leaning at the bed board. His brows were raised looking pointedly at me like I’m gonna do something bad. Or maybe he thinks I’m up to no good.
“Uh… Well, I-uh… I’m going somewhere” I responded with a grin.
His brows raised higher, if that’s even possible, closing his book he said, “Where?”
I feel like I’m being interrogated here!
“I’m gonna visit a friend in his house” I smiled sweetly. Please don’t ask any more questions!
Now, he crossed his arms over his chest, “Who’s your friend? You haven’t told me any friend of yours except from Elina, karmiy”
Pfft! Like you told me about your friend… Christina the evil witch!
“His name is Kaiden”
“So he’s a guy…” Raf trailed
I don’t know if he’s acting like a strict mother ora jealous boyfriend. But I like the latter…

I rolled my eyes, “He’s a six year old guy Raf. Can I go now?”
He studied my face for a while then sighed after sometime. I smiled when he finally nodded. I took that time to walk towards the door leaving him in his room. He can’t find out that I’m meeting Mr. Cooper. I don’t want to see the end of it…
But before I could open the door my phone rang, startling me a bit. I looked at the screen and saw that Mr. Cooper was calling. I looked back at Raf before answering, “Hello?”
“Do I have to fetch you?” Mr. Cooper asked in a teasing tone.
“No need. I’m already going” I whispered so Raf won’t hear
Mr. Cooper chuckled, “Why are you whispering?”
“I-uh… ahm…” Stutter alert! “Argh! Just wait for me. I’m coming over. Bye Mr. Cooper!” I said in one breath then hung up.
“Mr. Cooper?! You’re going to meet with Mr. Cooper?!”
Uh-oh. Why do I have to be so stupid?
Slowly, very slowly, I turned my head to look at Raf and I instantly shivered seeing his face. He was now standing looking really mad. I don’t even know why is he so annoyed at Mr. Cooper. I already told him that he’s nice and kind, and not a killer, may I add.
I smiled sheepishly before answering, “Well… technically I’m meeting Kaiden and he’s just living with Mr. Cooper so…” I trailed when I saw Raf clenched his fist.
